My husband was in a serious motorcycle accident in 2023 and needed multiple surgeries resulting in hospital and nursing home care to recover. Mr Jay Murphy was recommended by our daughter-in-law and he agreed to meet with us. He met with us in person and was very professional and knowledgable when discussing our questions and options. Our family had never experienced this type of medical and legal situation and Mr Murphy was very helpful guiding us through the process of working with our health insurance, multiple hospital billing issues and the auto insurance that belonged to the individual that had caused my husband's accident. Terrible company. They just want money. My insurance company told me don’t get a lawyer bc all they will do is take from your money and sure enough they did. They do the same thing that the insurance companies do except you don’t have to pay the insurance companies. I regret ever using these people, and if I could go back in time I would not have done it!!! I regret it 100%

I was injured in a motor vehicle collision on September 17, 2014, in Colorado Springs. The other driver admitted he "couldn't really see the light" and ran through the red light at 35 mph and just entered the intersection. I was at the intersection and went out when the light turned green. The passenger side of my car was struck by the other vehicle. My wrist had a fracture and I had neck and back pain. I also noticed dizziness, vertigo and shoulder discomfort. The other insurance disputed liability and my claim. Months later, I decided to hire an attorney. I hired Jay Murphy at the law firm of McCormick & Murphy. The firm investigated the collision and got the other insurance company to accept responsibility. Mr. Murphy and his staff were responsive to my questions and concerns. They negotiated a very good settlement of my claim and I received an amount in excess of what I was expecting. I am glad I hired Mr. Murphy and I am very satisfied with the care and respect I received from him and his staff. I recommend them.

I was in a very serious auto accident about 3 years ago. I was a passenger in a friends care and she pulled in front of another driver who T-boned the side of the car I was riding on. I initially hired a big firm that advertises on TV but they never returned my calls. I hired McCormick & Murphy and they did a great job. Settle for policy limits of $100,000 and now they are trying to get more money from my own insurance company.

Initially I was greeted and had a great meeting where they really got to know me and the specific needs of my situation. Throughout my case, they stayed in contact with me continuously with updates, but also to find out if I had any additional needs they could help with. On several occasions, I needed additional info from medical, individuals, whomever. Each time they spoke on my behalf and got the needed info. There was very few things I had to find/gather on my own, and on those occasions, they helped me through it. Even after the case was complete, they worked and did find where additional funds could be returned to me from multiple medical entities. This really set them apart in my mind, as the didn't receive any of it, this additional work was solely for my benefit. On September 27, 2012, My Ford Mustang was rear ended by a Ford Bronco in Colorado Springs. There was only mild damage visible to the rear of my Mustang and to the front of the Bronco. We did not call the police. I exchanged information with the other driver and she left the scene. I had hit my head on the headrest and I was not feeling right. I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with a concussion and whiplash. I was treated with a family doctor, a chiropractor and a neurologist. Ultimately, I was diagnosed with an uncommon neurological condition and brain injury. I needed assistance handling all the bills and insurance issues. A friend referred me to Jay Murphy at McCormick & Murphy. Mr Murphy and his office dealt with insurance companies, gathered the bills and medical records, and were professional and thorough in handling my case. My treatment and this ordeal has lasted over three years. McCormick & Murphy law firm was with me throughout this period. They were prompt in answering my questions and in returning my telephone calls. Ultimately, they recovered a settlement amount on my behalf that paid all of the liens and paid me a net recovery that was more than I expected. I felt Jay Murphy was honest and ethical. He was very kind every time I saw him, and he believed me about my brain injury symptoms which meant a lot. I was very satisfied and would recommend them to others.
