Improved but has always been notorious for underfeeding inmates. Sheriifs used to pocket the money that they didn't spend on inmate food out of the budget. This gave an incentive. to not serve enough food. That practice ended and the dept is getting better.

Very nice officers there and very professional. Praying ? for peace ?️. People that don't want police to do their job are so wrong. If we don't have police officer's ... Who we gonna call LoL ghost busters ?

This facility does treat inmates as prisoners. They dont give the medicine to inmates that take medicine. They don't give adequate water supply. The bathrooms are filled with mold and they left a stuck shower running for two weeks causing everyone in that unit to get sick with head colds due to the moisture in the air. They dont give everyone an oppertunity to go outside; which should be given at least an hr. everyday! Not to mention the commode left stopped up for over a month. This place should have someone come in and check out the unsanitary environment! If they had an inspection done the place would be shut down on the structure alone. Based on the commode staying stopped up due to settling of the building and the rebar disrupting the foundation. They overpopulate leaving ppl without beds! Some of them have threatened inmates with the power of authority they have there. There was only one officer that took her job serious and treated the inmates as a person and not criminals that are lower than the soil the building is built on.

I've dealt with other municipalities and other sheriff's office in other places and it's nothing like the on organized complete hell of Morgan county these people are 100 percent idiots

The staff here that I dealt with is RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL! I called and was hung up on and continued to call with no answer while Officer Noel or whatever sat there watching the telephone ring. Being affiliated with a huge law enforcement agency I found this agency to be DISTASTEFUL on MANY levels. Some of the staff feel as if just because they are officers they are superior but that is not the case at all. I have consulted an attorney about the way the individual was treated and how the individual freedom of speech and the rights were revoked. Just because someone goes to jail does not make them a criminal so people go due to defending themself against domestic violence. Some of the staff is not fit to hold the title as an officer

Morgan Co Sheriff cruiser #418 almost caused an accident today 8/16/22. Passing on a double line, twice, cars coming in both direction 3 wide, no lights no siren. Wow Would I get a reckless driving ticket for this same stunt?

My wife went to get her pistol permit renewed got there at 4:20 PM elevator wasn't working and the stairs were locked when she asked about getting it renewed they said they were closed and couldnt help her they were rude they work for the public this type of business should never close early she is leaving state with our children and carries for protection and now cant carry cause people dont know how to do their job
