When I first signed up for this service, I thought, “just in case anything happens.” Fast forward to a few months after signing up, and it turned out to be a God send. I worked with a tyrant at my last company; he had a bully-type attitude and certainly flexed it whenever given the opportunity. When I finally had enough and left, he got mad and tried to sue me for multiple ridiculous reasons. Not knowing my rights, I reached out to legal shield, and they wrote a strongly worded letter to his lawyer on my behalf. They tried a different strategy “to not take the case to court and settle.” Their wording this time scared me to the point that legal shield set me up with an over-the-phone consultation. The attorney I spoke with was very calm and knowledgeable. She put me at ease, told me exactly how to respond, assured me they didn’t have a case and said to me that if they pursued their ridiculous accusations that she would have no problem putting them in their place with an audience present 🙂 I am so grateful to my friend Chris Ward and the entire legal shield team.
