I have been a client with J. Perkins for many years. I came to Perkins with an injury sustained at work. Over time I've come to get to know attorneys Shawn Van Breisen and Robert McCarthy. They have been with me throughout my workers compensation case. They are wonderful to have in your corner. They are knowledgeable, understanding, patient and always took time to explain every aspect of my case to me. It was a long journey for me and to have two the best attorneys helping me through it I'm sad to leave. With that being said I have settled my case and life goes on. Mindless incompetence. At least in probate. Couldn't get forms filed despite multiple attempts and senseless excuses. Would go for months without hearing a thing from them and when I would call all I would hear was more senseless excuses and lies. As far as meeting Mr. Perkins I wouldn't know. I never spoke to him once. I used to try to sneak past the paralegals to get to the attorney but they always caught me. Probably have lots of practice. When I finally did get to ask her how this was so screwed up her reply was "it is what it is". It's for sure that in this law firm if something goes completely off the rails there's no one to get it back on. Hard to say how much time was lost trying to settle my case, probably a year at least. They don't even deserve the 1 star. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE.

I went into this so stressed and literally having panic attacks as a result of a car accident. Yeisel Sanchez was so amazing! She comforted me and helped ease my stress. Any and everytime I called or had questions she got back to me immediately. She was exceptional. She was kind, informative and unbeknownst to her a great therapist lol! She was able to walk me through everything which was helpful because I was as so lost and anxious. I truly am appreciative of this offices support but especially Yeisels. I would rate them a 10/10 if I could. Thank you guys for everything! Thank you Yeisel for being everything I needed during this stressful time.

These guys are great! I’ve also been working with Shaun. He’s the best lawyer I’ve ever had. He really shows that he’s on top of all my appointments, medical bills, and most of all.. has made sure of my workmen’s compensation checks which is extremely important! Things that we all find difficult to handle.If you ever have any issues and if you’re in Connecticut, I recommend Jonathan Perkins and ask for Shaun out of The Hartford area. Real down to earth guy!!
