We hired Carole to help liquidate our parents home in Melbourne. Unfortunately we are in Kansas and were somewhat concerned that we would have to find a local estate liquidator to work with us remotely IN A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. Trust and communication were a big factor. Carole stood out from the list (we reached out to several) and her communication with us helped us make the choice. She is professional above all else and trustworthy. Tells you what she is going to do and she does it.

Hired Carole to help my aging mother who lived in a different state than I do. She was wonderful over the phone and really provided some helpful advice, made me feel like everything would be taken care of, and gave me a sense of comfort. Unfortunately it did not go as smoothly as planned. Her team severely overpriced items ($5 for a coffee mug, $50 for an old vacuum, etc.) and didn't advertise the estate sale therefore very little sold. That resulted in additional fees to donate and discard items. she does provide assistance but be prepared for hundreds if not thousands of dollars in additional fees.

It was a true pleasure meeting Carole and her Team. Seeing this incredibly gorgeous little shop just blew us away. We just moved to The States after 38 years in Europe (former U.S. Military) and this store is by far one of the most beautiful shops we have seen, on both sides of the Atlantic. We used Carole Burke and her company for an estate sale for the contents of our mother's house. The entire process was transparent to us and seamless. Carole came to the house, surveyed the contents, and explained the process, her fee and the other costs of the sale. We are not local, so we had to rely on her to take care of the details. She did to our complete satisfaction. The sale was held and the house was emptied of remaining items per the agreed schedule. She met our needs and provided good return in line with the amount of valuable and not-so-valuable stuff in our Mother's house.

It is so nice to work with a professional, experienced, knowledgeable person when purchasing items. You never know if it is a reproduction or fake, but Carole Burke sure does. She also stands by the items she sales. Her prices are fair and reasonable. I only visit her estate sales. And I have heard only wonderful things by some of her other customers.

Carol is extremely curt and rude to paying customers. She carries herself as if she is royalty and looks down upon her "peasant" shoppers. I gave up going to Burke sales and have been so pleased with all the other local Estate sale companies that I will never go to another of her sales (and take every opportunity to warn others of her treatment). Stay away!

Carole and her staff are very professional, courteous, honest, and efficient
while diligently serving the client customer. A recent transaction with a
foreign resident customer proved to be more complicated than normal but Burke & Company handled it very satisfactorily.
