Lori assisted with finalizing the private adoption of our daughter and we were initially quite pleased with the services we received. Upon completion of the adoption we were told to call if we ever needed anything. Well, we had one question which could be answered in under 6 words, but Missy advised that we'd need to pay $125 in order for Lori to answer the question. Over the years we had referred several clients her way, so you can imagine my shock in being denied a simple answer after sending so much money into her pocket through referrals not to mention our own adoption proceedings. In the future I'll take my business to someone who truly cares about the families they serve and not just the number of commas they can add to their own bank balance.

I hired Lori to help me with a custody case and was initially very pleased with her work. When she made a mistake on our paperwork, that she filed with the courts, she gave us a full refund and then offered to "help" in writing up a simple notarized agreement because of her mistake; which I accepted. After 3 weeks of being a "new mom", doing all the guardianship/custody research and decision making away from my husband and home, I was emotionally exhausted. When I went to pick up my paperwork from Lori she ended up charging me for 3 hours. I was so shocked I just paid it and left. After a good cry I called and talked to her and she said she didn't know that I wasn't expecting to be charged. When you say you will "help" someone because of your own mistake it usually means it's out of good heart. I was wrong! Especially when the paperwork we got notarized was the same "agreement" that we filed with the courts. I also thought she was very unprofessional using swear words every time we communicated. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Lori is the best lawyer I could have possibly hired for my case. She is VERY knowledgeable and current on custody and adoption laws. She does everything by the book and crosses all her T's to ensure that the judge does not dismiss the case and gives a verdict quickly. I am impressed with how much she went out of her way for me, especially it being such an emotional case. Come to find out, she has an amazing reputation with not only her peers but with judges and the Lee county system. Needless to say, I won my case and was able to proceed happily with my family. There is no price for peace of mind, especially with a child and Lori has successfully helped me achieve it!
There are no words to thank her for what she has done for us. I will def recommend!

Over 3 years ago I payed her upfront for services that were never filed and still to this day it's still not filed nor did she do anything to help push through for my daughter to be adopted. After had dad didn't fill out paperwork properly then decided to not cooperate. She would not give me a full refund either. She offered to give me back only 200 hundreds after I payed her 2000 all she did was type a draft up and nothing more. After a year I had reconnected her she wanted more money from me to then get investigators involved to prove that clearly my daughter's dad has no part in her life and it will be 3 years in July of this year. I honestly would not use her since it's all about money and she did nothing for me.

Missy the receptionist is absolutely the most vile unprofessional individual. Cut me off every time I tried to speak. Did not listen to my questions. She should not be the face of a family law practice. She had the audacity to say to me “If you want to make an appointment you can. If not Ha Ha Ha keep dialing for other firms” Ha Ha Ha? Yes. She said that.
She never answered if the the firm represented my type of sensitive case. Then she resorted to name calling? And told me I was very rude. I didn’t appreciate her aggressive and belittling demeanor. Don’t waste your time or money here. The first face of the any company, represents the attitude of the whole company.
