I went in the traffic dept. with questions and needing assistance. I left crying. The older lady was so rude to me and very unprofessional. The middle aged woman that’s desk was directly behind her did however remain professional and helpful! I hope that one lady has a young daughter or granddaughter that has to experience what I went through today. I definitely felt as if I wasn’t taken seriously just because of my age! I wish I had gotten her name but I was too worried about getting inside my car before the tears started rolling!

Went in to the tag office to register a car I just bought and I was in & out in 10 minutes. Lady was very friendly and professional. She took care of everything I needed and sent me on my way!

Jackson County Courthouse has illegally filed the same articles against me without cause Judge Garcia is involved on every falsified action against me. I am concerned about the action taken they are completely bias she filed the same articles for three different individuals in approximately 6 weeks with being thrown out and more attempts there after.

I am an Alabama resident, and I was driving through Cottondale, FL on 06/09/18 on my way to Panama City Beach, FL when I was stopped by Officer Otis for speeding. I requested a court hearing within the 30 day time frame listed on the ticket; however, when I came to court on 08/16/18, the officer and judge informed me that my license was suspended. My question is, “How can my license be suspended when I didn’t even go to court yet?” The officer said it’s done automatically after 30 days. So that means you pay the ticket and then go to court? That’s illogical and absurd. So they told me I would have to go to Alabama to resolve the matter. Although I was not speeding when I was stopped, I paid the ticket so I could get my license back. They told me I couldn’t even drive when I left the courthouse. So l went to pay my ticket downstairs, and I explained my situation to the clerks, and they were equally baffled and confused. They had sent a D6 clearance letter to the Alabama DMV because they had erroneously suspended my license. The ladies got on the phone and resolved the matter within a few minutes, so I got my license reinstated immediately. Therefore, without their assistance I would not have my license back as I type this review. The judge and officer just said moments earlier that there was nothing they could do. These people are very corrupt and distort the law; I read the ticket’s instructions thoroughly and correctly. Still, it didn’t matter, and they didn’t care. This should be illegal and is without a doubt unethical. I had my license suspended before my first court date, and they admitted it wasn’t my fault.

The woman I dealt with was so rude! I said “that has to be an accident because I wouldn’t select to take a class in Marianna when I live in Ocala” she replied “well it must have clicked itself but it is an online course so it’ll be 68 dollars to remove it” Urg! Disappointing that my first few months in Florida are met with some of the rudest people working in the court system! I got a speeding ticket for speeding up to get around a truck! I swear Jackson county has done nothing but give a bad example to me!

I have been calling the Clerk's office for weeks to pay a ticket and can not get an answer. I have called between business hours over and over. The ticket I need to pay will not pull up on line nor on the phone system. I just need to pay the ticket but can not drive 9 hours back from NC to handle it in person. I know they are busy and doing a job but if someone could please answer the phone that would be great.

If you get a ticket and elect to take the driving school, make sure that you send proof that you did the online defensive driving course. They won't tell you that you need to and it is not shown on the web site (if it is, it is not clear or obvious). Paid my ticket, took the online school thinking it sent them a notification that it was taken, then months later received a letter from a collection agency. They never told me I needed to send a copy of the completed school, never billed be for "not taking" the school, then sent it to a collection agency. Now I find out they suspended my license almost 2 years later. Get this, paid the ticket, took the school, and paid the "fee" for not taking the school, even though I did, and they suspended my license. This department is crooked. I'm writing this review to maybe help someone before this happens to them, too. I have no record, never been in trouble other than speeding, and have to deal with this stupid mess.

I was tad bit late paying my speeding ticket that I got going through this County I was 2 or 3 days late I made phone call to the clerk and they were kind enough to take payment over the phone. I was worried I would have my license suspended but they took payment and just had a small extra fee and patiently took my payment over the phone so it could have been a lot worse
