My family and I were very pleased with how Mr. Kurtin handled everything in our case (not guilty on a literal made up charge, and malicious prosecution). Our court/justice system, is not what we are led to believe, and without people like Mr. Kurtin, real attorneys, that will push back, enforce protocols, and the law as it is written and legislated, none of us have a chance at real defense against the corrupt among us. Mr. Kurtin genuinely cares about his clients, he cares about the integrity of the system, but is not ignorant to its shortcomings and corruption. You want an attorney like Mr. Kurtin, one who does not care what the opposition "thinks" its plan is. That kind of confidence is rare today. He knows the law, and this virtue of actually fighting for the client, as well as having contingency plans in place, is sorely lacking today, replaced by numbers. My family thanks Mr. Kurtin (Jon) for everything. This is an attorney you can actually trust.

If I wasn't nervous enough going in, after spending about 10 minutes with me for my "free consultation" asking general questions first, where we work, how much do we get paid. He asked me to explain why I was at the decision of divorce after only 10 months. I started telling him the issues at hand, and he basically stopped me in my tracks and said, "well I can tell you now you have way bigger problems than that. I don't see how you could possibly pay me to represent you."
I said sir, you're the first one I reached out to, I'm lost and I have no idea where to start. I wanted the consultation to see what you could do for me. He said it would cost $4,500 to represent me and he sees no way that I can afford it. Whether I could or couldn't, he had me leaving out of there feeling so judged and hurt. IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU CHARGE THEN YOU SHOULD TELL PEOPLE SO THEY DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME NOR THEIRS. HOW WAS I TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF INTEGRITY YOU HAD UNTIL THE
"free consultation".
Shame on you sir. I pray people have treated your family better than I was treated today by you in your office. Long term covid affects? Perhaps you reap what you sow. Treat others as you would have others treat you. Shame on you for being so judgemental.

Mr. Kurtin is a very professional criminal defense attorney. Mr. Kurtin was very helpful from the start and made my entire experience easier. I was able to provide him with the documentation I already had and there was very limited need for multiple meetings based on my circumstances. Mr. Kurtin and his secretary, Lorraine, were some of the friendliest, and respectful professionals I have dealt with in a long time. Mr. Kurtin was able to explain his viewpoint on my case and his recommendations for the best possible outcome, which is exactly what occurred. Mr. Kurtin was also very reasonable price wise in comparison to others in the area which was just an added bonus.
I highly recommend Mr. Kurtin and his expertise. I would look at him for his expertise in cases as needed in the future, but hope I will never need his services again on a personal level.
