I would like to say that I would not recommend doing a free consult with this lawyer as it was a waste of my time and taking the day off. As soon as I pulled up and seen the building, I already started to feel uneasy and unsettled. The outside of the building was not well kept. The office door was not shut behind me during our free consult. The phone did not ring one time when having the free consult. Many questions were danced to round. I even received a response to one of my questions in which he stated oh that’s a loaded question! It was even stated that, even though we agreed upon all issues pertaining to children for this divorce and the fact that it was notarized, he stated it was not a legal binding document. I believe many scare tactics were trying to be used in order to receive the retainer fee. I was also told that none of my information that I brought in, including: Approximately 22 exhibits most of which could not be used because they would have to be verified through a third-party?! Which would intern drag out this case for an additional three months perhaps.
I was then told that even though we have only been married since 2021 my husband, soon to be ex-husband is entitled to half of everything from the time we started dating. He was not an empathetic person. He even asked me at one point why I am in such a hurry to divorce this man. He also suggested that I withdraw my court date coming up to instead put in for a provisional hearing. I was interrupted many times when trying to ask questions. He refused to tell me the retainer fee upfront and midway through the conversation. I would not recommend this lawyer as I left his office I felt belittled and I was in tears and had very high anxiety levels. In my opinion, it came off to me that he was more interested and me gaining legal representation with him and earning money versus having any regards to my children’s needs. So very disappointed and unfortunate.

My experience with lawyers in the past have not been very pleasant. A lot of them seem to take extra time doing emails, writing letters, and making calls charging and exorbitant amount of money. Josh was not like them at all. He helped me by working with me on a payment plan, building a strong case to my defense, and being very responsive to any inquiries I had. I would highly recommend Mr. Byanski to anyone who need legal support in his areas of expertise.
