Truly could not have asked for a better experience! I won something online and had it shipped, Harmeyer processed everything really quickly and professionally, and Cathie their in-house shipping department did an incredible job packing it safely. It was shipped lightning fast and I was charged shipping at-cost which is a huge rarity. Harmeyer & Co. is a gem and I will be paying close attention to future auctions!

I have purchased several items from online auctions from Harmeyers and have been very happy & saw how organized they were. When the need arose, I contacted them to conduct an auction. From the beginning, they were very professional & polite. I have to say I was very impressed. They did such an amazing job, they did everything we asked & accommodated our needs. I don't know what has happened to this company or their web site, but it has gone to pot. You don't even know where the auctions are located in order to bid. The web site is very poorly designed, hard to navigate, and the search feature has been eliminated. I would not consign items to this auction. You will lose money. Maybe they are saving money by using inferior internet services, but they are costing their consignors huge money. In the past this company has provided great auctions and excellent services. They should attempt to return to the past.

Never seen a auction company so lazy and unprofessional. Drove from Ohio over 80 miles one way to a auction for 2 pieces of equipment ditching machine and back filler was standing beside the equipment checking it out waiting to bid and they sell it from across the way away from the equipment where we couldn't even hear them say they was selling it. Ever other auction company sells item by the item. Not away from the items where the people that are interested in them are waiting to bid. Waited around for over 3hrs for this stuff to sell and they sell it under people. We will never go back to this auction. Very unprofessional and very disrespectful.

The elderly gentleman working as cashier is very proficient and polite. The young cashier was telling another customer to "stop" and "shut up" in the middle of a sentence in order to talk over the customer. He's quite rude. The auction had decent items for sale, but that's not any reflection on the auction service.

My. Family and I have bought alot of things though harmeyer over the years but lately have had a lot of bad experiences with the online actions. The latest bid on cont.of building which did not have any exclusions list and had photos of everything in the building. Get there to pick the items up and they tried to say it just the items on the ceiling and wall which was nothing but trash. Scott the guy running the site wanted to argue with us and I informed him that the posting said cont.of building no exclusion was posted. And I had photos of all that was posted. In short. Beware of buying stuff from them because they want to changes things once you buy things and very rude.

After purchasing many items through Harmeyer auction and appraisal I sold my antique business and was in need of an auction service naturally I called Harmeyer auction and appraisal they help me immensely, and I was very please with the outcome of my auction.
