When I was deciding whether or not to file bankruptcy a few years ago, I wasn't sure who to call. I looked at a few places but decided to go with this firm. From day one, Mr Schwartz and Mrs. Quire ( Michelle) were absolutely amazing.
Michelle met with me and we went over everything from how this works to what I had to do to prepare for my case . She made sure I understood everything as well as what I could expect. Then, I met with Mr. Schwartz and he was very kind and understanding. He went over everything as well and I felt at ease.

Pretty soon, the ball was rolling and all things were in motion. Michelle stood by me through letters, the creditors in what they could or couldn't do to my final payment and discharge.

She is phenomenal as well as everyone within Kruger & Schwartz. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I sought out Mr. Schwartz after a recommendation from a close friend to file bankruptcy in 2017. At that time, I filed for Ch. 13 with a repayment plan in place. 2 years later, I switched jobs within the same company and they failed to continue garnishing wages to send to the trustee. After my payments fell behind, a paralegal was in touch with me every step of the way to give me options that would benefit me most. I decided to discontinue with filing 13 and go ahead and file 7 at a later date. Fast forward to 2022, I had lost my job and had tons of medical bills coming in with no income. I contacted the firm again and to my surprise, the same AMAZING people took care of everything without skipping a beat. The best part? I never had to leave my house! I’ve worked with firms in my previous job and quite often there was a change in who handled the case due to the case manager or paralegal leaving. With this firm, having the same kind, friendly, and helpful staff remaining after 5 years gave me a sense of security and confidence that they’d handle my case with the best skills possible. I’m almost sad it’s about to be over as they’ve felt like a family! I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else and will always refer anyone in need of bankruptcy advice to them without a question!

Mr. Schwartz & his entire team are super friendly & amazing at what they do! Their positive office atmosphere made things less stressful for me. I was going through a really tough time & had to make some tough decisions for my family & education. So I decided on bankruptcy. I have personally never filed a bankruptcy before, & I knew very little about it. We have had to file Chapter 13 twice. Both times we have chosen to work with Richard Schwartz and his team in New Albany. They are a fantastic group of people who go above and beyond to keep you up to date on your case and answer all of your questions. Michelle is amazing and I am sure that now that our bankruptcy is done, she is happy to see us go as I have asked a million questions, but she has always returned my calls and emails quickly and always with a smile. Hopefully we won't have to ever file again, but if so we will be going back to use them again!!
