We paid him 1100.00 for a guardianship that never went to court! Calls were made and not returned. When they were returned, it would be two or three weeks later. We ask for a refund and that’s been two months ago. Stated that we would get an itemized statement still haven’t gotten it very unprofessional. Do not waste your money. I usually never post anything to Facebook but i can't believe this happened to me. 😢I thought I was going after work today to finally finalize my divorce only to show up to my Lawyers office to find the doors locked and no one answering the phone. I finally seen my lawyer Timothy Lemon go to enter his office building so I call out to him and say hi. He immediately closes the door and locks it. I think what is going on so I knock on the door and he answers and says " Yeah what do you want". I say " You told me to come in at 4:00 to sign my divorce papers. He says" No I didn't. I said "your wife called me". He said hold on and closed the door. He then came out with the paperwork and said "this will never work his signature isn't even a name". I asked him if it was his first time seeing the paperwork and he replied "Yeah did you not just see me come in?" I said yeah I did but the paperwork was signed by him yesterday that is what your wife told me when she said I could come in at 4:00. So I thought maybe you saw it. Then his wife came out and yelled at him that it was fine. I pointed out the date to him on the paperwork by my xs signature and he lost it and started yelling and screaming at me outside of his office because it is under construction. Then his wife came out and they both started screaming at me saying this is not worth what they charged, even though I did the first half on my own. Then saying I was crazy and they where not going to do my divorce. In the meantime I was signing the paperwork and I said I am sorry if I interrupted an argument between the 2 of you but I have done nothing wrong and this is very unprofessional. I then told them if they could not stop screaming at me I was going to call the police and they said that Timothy Lemon is the police and that me calling them would do nothing. I went home crying after being screamed at in downtown Knox by my own lawyer and called the police because now I have no idea if my divorce will be finalized or not. I have never been treated so badly by someone I paid and trusted to help me. I would definitely not recommend Timothy Lemon in Knox Indiana to anyone.😢

It's highly likely you'll be forced to represent yourself as this "office" doesn't like to return calls timely, refuses to provide itemized billing, and withdraws days before hearing. It's heartbreaking this person is allowed to practice when he's jeopardizing the lives of families. If you want someone who truly cares about you and your family... look anywhere else.

Response: as a professional who was paid to do a job, you did not fulfill your obligation. You can't respond because it wouldn't be truthful. You seem to not care much about your"professional obligation" ....as being a professional went out the window when you simply couldn't provide an itemized bill for your client.

I spoke with attorney Lemon earlier today about my brother's case. I was amazed on how he took the time to answer each of the questions I had in detail. I spoke to his receptionist prior and she was very nice also. Attorney Lemon went out of his way to give me a call back when I didn't even request a return call. He seems to be very knowledgeable and I was impressed. My brother is incarcerated and we are waiting to see which attorney the court assigns him as a court appointed attorney. I am in high hopes now that I spoke to attorney Lemon that my brother does get him. I believe that he will be an awesome criminal defense lawyer. This is just my opinion as we have never worked with attorney Lemon. I will definitely give a further updated review if he gose on to work with my brother on this case. For now I am very pleased on how professional he came across during our phone call. Also, he sounded to
be very knowledgeable & seems to have a lot of experience as a criminal law attorney.
*Update: My brother did get Attorney Lemon as his attorney. He has done so much for my brother. He has discovered so many details that have helped his case and has helped him to prove a few things were incorrect on his charges. He has gotten his case down from where he was facing 12 years of prison to a way more fair sentencing. The case is still open so I can't go into details but, attorney Lemon has gone out of his way for my brother and we are greatful. He is amazing me to say the least. Thank you Attorney Lemon!

Forced to represent myself. Waiting after poor representation from Attorney Lemon for my files. 2 calls and multiple requests over 3 months trying to get my files, which is suppose to be given to me by law within 30 days of the request. Still waiting. No responses. The law applies to attorneys as well. A shame I have to post this publicly, but maybe he will get the message before I have to take him to small claims court to get what by law he should provide. Stellar professionalisPerhaps he is hesitantto provide the....NOT! He will tell the world that he gave me the records but the true fact is he gave me my first attorney's records. There was nothing in there about what was supposedly filed or what he billed me for. Could see all the work my previous attorney did and there is nothing in that file that he did and I'm supposed to take this to another attorney? And I know I will never see the billable hours I requested. As of last year he was still on file as my attorney because his request to NOT be my attorney was denied. He took the money, never resolved contempt or custody and the offer for my house and business never got to opposing counsel. I lost my family farm, business and my ex husband even took a loss. All of this was confirmed! He never even showed or informed me of my order of protection hearing and it was dismissed! This can all be confirmed through court records! I essentially paid Mr Lemon to loose my house, farm, business and to not compete custody. The sad thing is that my now ex husband and his attorney were waiting for the offer. Thank God for Emails!!! I WOULD HAVE NEVER GONE TO A REVIEW TO GET A REAPONSE FROM MY ATTORNEY, BUT AS YOU SEE....THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO! There is review after review saying the same thing. All can be verified!

Run! Because that's what Tim does once he gets your money. Nothing gets filed. Calls and emails are not returned. He is unprepared for hearings. His receptionist/wife has no consept of professionalism and yells at you if she is overwhelmed. He charged me for, but never showed up for my order of protection hearing. This office does more to avoid their clients than represent them!

I would not waste your time with this Attorney. He took me for $2,000 as a single mother for a custody battle. I pretty much fought for myself. He is VERY bad about calling his clients back and is not prepared and often doesn't know things and says he will find out, but you don't hear back from him. He takes a long time to get things done and is not a good attorney. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone. Thank for taking my money! SUPER disappointed.

I'm not sure if this man is an actual lawyer or just practicing. He is thee worst! (That I have experienced) He isn't consistent and when he doesn't have a answer he ignores your calls. He doesn't know how to deal with certain case issues and instead of figuring them out because that's his job. He gets upset and continues the case, then ignores your calls and blames it on the court system. Contact the court they clearly say it was continued by your lawyer. There is a lot of broken steps with this man. Perhaps he should only do bankruptcies. He has a habit of comparing everything to that. Honestly if you are in need of true representation DO NOT CHOOSE TIMOTHY LEMON! Thank me later!😊
