Some friends that live in the area recommended we go here. Lots of trails, picnic sites and campsites.
Our friends told us that there was no fee, however there is a $7 day use fee. Some other visitors were also confused as they also thought it was free. Regardless, well worth $7.
Camping sites are rustic and $17.
Spectacular views.
If you're in the area, make a stop. Ypu can easily drive through.

This is a gorgeous park! The amount of Saguaros in this small area is insane! I also love there is available camping here. Camping right off Peralta Rd can get really busy and there is a constant stream of cars coming and going. The park is so much more quiet!

Gorgeous Regional Park with trails for everyone and plenty of parking. Super cool spots for overnight backpacker’s. East side trails make you feel like you are in the backcountry and all of them can be looped together for a little more than 9 miles and almost 1500’ of vert. Trails are great for hiking and trail running, but maybe not so much for MTB. Pay ahead online is easy, trails are marked but not named yet so download the map, bathrooms onsite, and bring water.

(visited in January)
There is something for everyone here at Peralta Regional. The trails vary from easy (Desperado trail) to difficult (North Star). Many of the trails are still quite new and there was flowing water in several places making the ground a bit squishy.

You can buy passes online which is great too. The parking lots are quite large and there is not a lot of signage yet. The ramadas and bathrooms are in great shape (thus far). I'm excited to try some of the camp sites and other facilities at the park.

It would be great to get a digital version of the trails at the park but I'm sure that will come.

Beautiful area and the park is laid out well. Great for hiking and horses. Trails are rideable on mountain bikes but not a lot of flow to them. The builders definitely didn’t have MTBs in mind when they designed them.

Camping spots are nice with parking space for one car/van/truck (min parking space is 10x20, some longer). They are primarily for tent camping but vans are permitted. Must reserve spots online.

Four stars because of concerns about trail maintainability as storm runoff erodes them. Some areas are already washed out with the winter rains.

Overall Pinal Co did a great job with its 1st regional park!

Great park to see the wildflowers and ride horses on their great trails. Pinal County's first regional park, and they set the bar high. Come check it out. Trails for hiking, biking, horses, and leisurely walks. There is camping too. Good job Pinal County!

The park is phenomenal and is absolutely gorgeous! The trails are super great to hike and the fact that they have an equestrian trail and a stargazing node is super thoughtful! Amazing park absolutely suggest for everyone for day trips, hiking, and camping!
