WARNING: Richard Corcoran has been suspended for five years after receiving an informal admonition, when it was the Disciplinary Board's dissenting recommendation that he should be disbarred to protect the public, describing his misconduct as “Extremely serious" In a TWENTY NINE page report that outlined his violations which included theft, neglect, and misrepresenting his client's. (Disciplinary Counsel v. Richard M. Corcoran PICS Case No. 10-3493)

I reported Richard and gave the board solid evidence proving he neglected me and the serious matter of life issues in my case. After making me believe he could correct the issue to receive payment he completely ignored me, and filed an appeal months later without my knowledge with an extremely weak argument that made no mention of the serious issues in my case. The board dismissed my complaint likely because it involved judicial misconduct, but hopefully this information helps protect others from being one of his victims.

It should be noted his partner receives nothing but positive reviews without the need to be disciplined, where after receiving an official warning and not heeding it he was suspended, and receives nothing but negative reviews.

Rich Corcoran Did nothing but take my money, ignore my emails, and did none of the things I asked of him for over a year, then quit when I confronted him about it.

He is often out of the office for days and weeks at a time. He will email after weeks but only say he was busy, never addressing a single issue.

After I get my custody case sorted out, I will be seriously considering legal action against this man.

Do not go with this lawyer! You will call with no answer for weeks! He’s lazy and unprofessional! Dropped me because I didn’t get him payment in time but I didn’t want to pay him due to the lack of response and doing what he said he was going to do!
