Custom Processing Services LLC: An Overview

Custom Processing Services LLC, operating from its headquarters in East Greenville, Pennsylvania, stands as a notable entity within the industrial manufacturing sector. While the company's specific niche might not be overwhelmingly detailed in widely available public databases, the provided information points towards its engagement in custom processing and manufacturer services, suggesting a role in transforming raw materials into finished products according to client specifications. This business model typically sits at the intersection of fabrication, machining, and specialized assembly, catering to a diverse clientele that likely spans various industries requiring precision, volume, or specialized components that they cannot produce in-house.

Location and Reach

Geographically, Custom Processing Services LLC anchors its operational presence at 461 State Street in the municipality of East Greenville, located within Berks County, Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania, particularly the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton metropolitan area, has a significant industrial base, including manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, and logistics. East Greenville itself is a smaller borough within this larger region. This strategic location potentially offers advantages such as access to a skilled labor pool, proximity to major transportation networks (like interstates and rail lines), and a supportive industrial ecosystem. The company's website, accessible via customprocessingservices.com, serves as its primary digital storefront and source of information, though the depth of detail available directly on the site requires exploration.

Core Activities and Specialties

At the heart of Custom Processing Services LLC's operations lies its designation as a manufacturer. This implies a level of vertical integration beyond simple contract manufacturing or fabrication. The term 'manufacturer' typically signifies that the company undertakes the complete process of sourcing raw materials and transforming them into marketable products. While the specific types of products they manufacture aren't explicitly listed here, companies operating under this banner often specialize in areas such as metal fabrication, precision machining, injection molding, or specialized assembly lines. They likely leverage a combination of advanced machinery, skilled technicians, and quality control processes to deliver goods meeting specific client requirements and industry standards. Their core competency seems to lie in custom processing, meaning they tailor their production methods and output to the unique needs of their customers, offering flexibility alongside reliability.

Reputation and Customer Feedback

Evaluating the operational success and customer satisfaction of any manufacturing business relies heavily on client feedback and market reputation. Custom Processing Services LLC maintains a physical presence on platforms like Google My Business, which currently displays 17 customer reviews. This relatively modest number of reviews indicates that the company is visible to potential customers searching locally or for specific services in the Pennsylvania area, but it might not yet have a vast, global online footprint. The average rating of 2.2 out of 5 stars is a significant indicator that customer satisfaction requires improvement. Such a low average suggests potential issues could range from inconsistent product quality or delivery times to communication breakdowns or pricing concerns. Potential clients exploring this company are strongly advised to scrutinize these reviews carefully, possibly contacting the business directly for current performance indicators and clarification on past feedback.

Information for Potential Clients and Stakeholders

For businesses or individuals seeking custom processing or manufacturing services, researching companies like Custom Processing Services LLC is a crucial step in identifying potential partners. Here are key pieces of information to consider:

  1. Core Services: Beyond the general terms 'custom processing' and 'manufacturer', delve into their specific capabilities. Are they experts in metal cutting, CNC machining, surface treatment, assembly, or something else Check their website or contact them directly to understand their full service range.
  2. Quality and Certifications: Manufacturing hinges on reliability and precision. Look for information on quality control procedures, adherence to industry standards, and potentially relevant certifications (e.g., ISO). The low average rating warrants particular attention regarding their quality management system.
  3. Technical Expertise and Equipment: The complexity of their manufacturing capabilities depends on their machinery and the skill of their workforce. Knowing if they can handle small batches, large volume runs, intricate designs, or specific materials is vital.
  4. Turnaround Time and Capacity: Manufacturing projects have deadlines. Understand their typical lead times and whether they can meet specific volume demands without compromising quality or delivery schedules.
  5. Communication and Customer Service: Effective collaboration requires clear communication channels. Feedback on their responsiveness, clarity, and willingness to address issues is critical for a smooth partnership.
  6. Geographic Location Considerations: Being based in East Greenville, PA, may influence logistics, freight costs, and potential client proximity within the Northeast region.
  7. Financial Stability: While harder to gauge without financial reports, the longevity of the company and the consistency of its operations (or lack thereof, suggested by the low rating) are indicators of its financial health.

Direct contact via their provided phone number (215-679-5983) is essential for obtaining comprehensive details. Inquiries should focus not just on what services they offer, but also on their process, capacity, quality guarantees, pricing structure, and customer references. Given the manufacturing industry's reputation for variability in service quality, thorough due diligence before committing to a partnership is highly recommended.

Conclusion

Custom Processing Services LLC presents itself as a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer specializing in custom processing solutions. Operating from East Greenville, the company offers a specific service crucial to many businesses needing fabricated or assembled products. However, the available data, including its relatively modest online review count and concerning average customer rating, paints a picture that warrants cautious evaluation. Prospective clients seeking reliable, high-quality manufacturing partners must engage in detailed investigation, utilizing direct contact and potentially requesting case studies or references to assess the company's current performance and suitability for their specific needs. The journey from inquiry to partnership requires a clear understanding of capabilities, limitations, and expectations.

This place is emitting dangerous levels of carcinogens into the air, severely increasing the chance of getting cancer due to air pollutants from 1 in a million in a unpolluted area to 1 in 290 in East Greenville. It more than likely has killed many people in the town.

If you're not concerend whether you live or die, i highly recommend. Its very stressful, they pay you well but they cant afford any safety measures, parts for machines, bare minimum PPE or even time to work on a single project. You're only of value if you fix a breakdown on your day off and will be used as mud catcher for the blame game. No one is responsible nor accountable for your safety. Severely understaffed, disorganized and sure to be in violation of several emission codes and EPA restrictions. The crew you work with are pretty nice guys and try to look out for you as best they can but they're under the gun as well so they will turn on you if it means keeping their name clean. Watch out and stay well away! Not worth the money!

Working multiple stories elevated in the air, in an exposed environment, without any harnesses, safety gear, or chains to hold the person (S) in place. Posts with chains once were in place, but look to since have been removed. Multiple employees were noticed throwing tools from story to story, such as a person needed one on level one, and the person on level two would throw a wrench or screwdriver down below. The equipment that was stood on in the air, was machinery that had open grates on it on an elevated surface that had a great potential for an operator to fall into machinery stories up. Also had to install Nuts and bolts into the machinery at elevated surfaces with nuts and bolts following below, any at points were even told to kick the extra ones on the floor off the level down below. The metal flooring that was in place had multiple rust, and holes located throughout, causing a great potential for hazards to exists there. When starting we were told that the machinery was locked out, yet the air was still functioning on the system in which I wouldn't know due to being newer. Multiple exposed wires throughout the entire plant, and in some areas they were still exposed but just taped off. If you're working in an explosive environment you would think that it would need to be better taken care of. Although due to weathering etc, the lots in which forklift operators travel on are extremely uneven some areas there are divits of a foot or more. If somebody were to hit that with a heavy load, there is a great potential for the machine or even load to tip over and cause injury. I believe that all employees are exposed to the hazards as they are trained in all areas. Training videos were from the 1970's, which are viable but very outdated compared to current standards.

Was late because of low clearance bridges and small streets with trailer restrictions. I explained my lateness but their attitudes towards me was nasty and have me waiting for 2 hours and counting. Still no door. BTW they are only offloading from one door.
