Everyone at Shields and Boris were extremely helpful, courteous and accommodating. There was always someone there to answer my questions. Alicia was very polite and helpful in setting up meetings and explaining the process for an estate plan. I met with Jim Shields and his knowledge put my wife and I at ease. During the final document signing Jim took the time to fully explain all the documents in layman terms. Shields and Boris is a firm with exceptional professionalism.

A tremendous amount of information to process. Very helpful to me to assist with gathering the proper documents and trying to determine what best fits our needs at this time. My husband and I definitely need to make some adjustments before we even begin the process in deciding what will be best for us and our adult children. Our biggest issue will be naming an executor (or trustee). We would want our son, but he lives out of state. However he has had experience performing this task where he lives. I have read that the state of PA may not accept an out of state executor/trustee. Our daughter has no experience although she is local. Really appreciate the workshop and would definitely be interested if there are any more available.

I had my parents contact Jim & his team to get their affairs in order. I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire process. They worked at our pace and around some scheduling difficulties that came up. Professional yet personal, that goes a long way as far as I’m concerned. We definitely learned a few things that we would have done incorrectly if not for the guidance and advice we received. My parents and I are now at ease knowing that everything is squared away & answers to anything we need going forward are just a phone call away. The proverbial “Highly Recommend” just doesn’t seem to do it justice. We truly appreciate everything they did for us.

This was my first exposure to estate planning and I found it to be very informative. There was a lot of good information . Having a written copy of the presentation would have been great. There were many new terms and explanations, but I couldn’t catch everything in my notes.
