Everybody's bills just got increased by 30%, so some people can't afford to buy food. Since it happened right before Christmas a lot of kids will be going without this year. Old people on fixed income may not even be able to keep their lights on so people are in danger of freezing who have lived here most of their lives. Really bad in the summertime because some of the older people on fixed income can't afford to turn on a fan. . Prices went up and the service went down. We have trash pickup man crying about having to exit the air conditioning truck and move trash cans.

Despite what people think now about Piedmont water and power, coming from someone who's newest, and was using Alabama power, Piedmont is slot cheaper! Just wished we could pay bill by phone even when they are closed.
