I will never use this business again to file my taxes after my experience. If I could give zero stars, I would.

My husband had gone to see Shelton a couple hours before me because I was at work. I came in to meet with my husband to finalize the taxes and sign papers, and Shelton not once looked up to greet me as I walked in the office. Right off the bat, he was very cold and stand-offish.
As most people do, I was quietly venting to my husband the frustrations of paying federal and state taxes all year, just to only pay more, OR not get anything back. Well, apparently Shelton did not like this because he told me that if I was just going to complain, that I could go somewhere else. It took me so off guard that I literally asked if he was being serious or sarcastic, and he said he was being serious. I told him that we weren't even talking to him or about him.
Now, I'm pregnant, so you really don't want to piss off a pregnant woman. I almost collected our documents and walked away. I didn't because my husband had been there for a long time already and I didn't want to do that to him. Never in my adult life have I been so disrespected by someone else performing a service for me. I left so mad my ears were red. My husband has used him for years, and after being treated lower than dirt, we will never return. Shelton just needs to go ahead and retire and stop pissing everyone off. He's just going to keep losing business with how he treats people.

I was recommended to Shelton by family members as he’s done their taxes for years. Upon calling and requesting for him, he was nothing but cold, rude, and disrespectful by not even willing to hear me out on my issue. He immediately declined multiple times and while he was definitely a lot of things, professional wasn’t one of ‘em. Thanks for all your help!
