I want to take this opportunity to express my experiences with Bill Miller in the establishment of my Estate Trust Plan. I had gone to several free seminars regarding the process of setting up these very important documents. Almost immediately I could sense a huge difference in Bill Miller’s presentation. By the time he completed his presentation I could tell Bill was going to be my go-to-person for this process. After my consultation appointment with Bill I was even more impressed with and convinced of Bill’s knowledge and expertise in the laws for my needs for establishing an Estate Plan.

After three sessions with Bill, my son, who attended the meeting with me, and will be administer of my estate both are completely confident we have the absolute best plans possible for my Estate Plan. Thank you Bill Miller for your knowledge, skills, abilities, professionalism, courtesy and most of all your concerns in the way you and Your Team handled this entire process!!

Mr. Miller and his staff are hospitable, professional, and competent. We used Mr. Miller to help us with a trust and we were impressed with his concern with doing the right thing for us and his competency in getting it done. He is a good guy and I highly recommend him when you decide you need legal services.

Miller Law helped us with our estate planning recently, and we found them to be very knowledgeable. They removed the stress from estate planning and answered any and all questions for us. They guided us through the process with ease, and were there for us after it was completed. We recommend them highly for your estate planning.

Overall, we had a good experience. They did have wrong information in the documents at first, and they were late in getting me the proofs, and I do have trouble understanding Mr. Miller sometimes.

However, I checked around, and I found Mr. Miller's expertise in this area to be superior to other attorneys. He was kind enough to answer my questions, even sometimes my repeated questions, on a couple of consults, even before we hired him. And his office staff was kind and eager to help us.

Miller Estate and Elder Law had one job: return a call when they said they would. They failed.

I followed up the next day—not to chase them down, but to withdraw my inquiry. I explicitly stated I was no longer interested and that they should disregard my message. That should have been the end of it.

But no—thirty minutes later, they called me back. Not to apologize. Not to acknowledge their failure. But to make excuses and try to sell me anyway. Because, apparently, my clear “do not call me back” was less important than their need to salvage a lost sale.

Let’s get this straight: A firm that cannot keep its own word will not keep yours. A firm that ignores a direct request to disengage will not respect your boundaries. And a firm that treats a prospective client’s time as expendable is not worth trusting with anything of consequence.

This is elder law. The last thing anyone needs in that field is a firm that treats communication like a used-car dealership. If you can’t even meet the basic standard of respecting a potential client’s time, what happens when real stakes are involved?

1 star. Not for incompetence alone, but for proving, beyond all doubt, that they should never have been trusted in the first place.

Approximately 30 minutes after this revocation, I received a call from “Amber.” This timing raises concerns about the firm’s responsiveness and priorities—if they were capable of responding so quickly to a withdrawal of interest, why did they fail to honor their initial commitment to a timely callback?

Additionally, when I spoke with a staff member earlier that day, they claimed to be physically present in the office. Yet, if that were true, my original request should have been handled appropriately. Either the firm misrepresented its operations, or the individual claiming to represent them did. Neither scenario reflects well on a law firm that should be held to high professional and ethical standards.

When I pointed out these inconsistencies and reiterated that I did not wish to be contacted further, Amber insisted it was all a mistake rather than addressing the underlying procedural failure. This deflection, rather than accountability, further reinforced my concerns.

At best, this experience demonstrates a disorganized and reactive approach to client communication. At worst, it suggests misleading or deceptive practices. Either way, I would not entrust them with legal matters.

If this was an unfortunate one-off, I hope they address it internally to prevent future occurrences.

My wife and I have used Miller Estate and Elder Law for all our estate planning: WIlls, POA, MPOA and real estate protection coverage, now for many years. They are a 1st Class organization who gives you very good advice on how to plan for the future. Their website is excellent, filled with training videos and documents to help you understand dementia and elder care. We needed help with these areas and they are well versed in Elder Planning and Estate handling. I highly recommend them to whoever needs this type of service.
