Had a great experience first day on the Silver line. Bus driver friendly and helpful, even anticipated where we were trying to go and recommended we take the next stop than what we requested. We had him again the next morning, and the bus broke down at a stop (no fault of his, or the line, I guess; things happen), a mechanic came, fixed it "enough" 40 minutes later, and the bus was instructed to continue on its northbound route. After it was already northbound, the driver was instructed to go southbound (with northbound passengers), so he had to go back and dump us off at the original bus stop where waited for the next bus. The next bus picked us up, then started speeding north. We pulled the bell pull before our stop ("passenger stop requested" light clearly on), and the driver said the name of the stop over the loud speaker, then sped right past it. Now, on any other public transportation, that's an *announcement* of the next stop. For this guy, it apparently was a question. When we told the driver, "you just passed our stop", he yelled at us, "You didn't tell me to stop!" Apparently on this bus, the unwritten rules state that you must to pull the bell pull, and yell "YES!" when the bus driver says the stop name. Who knew? πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ In the afternoon, when we returned to the bus station to get a ride back, the bus that was supposed to stop for us just sped right by us and never stopped (yes, it was the right bus). We ended up having to spend over $30 on a cab ride back.

The woman bus driver today, Wed. 23rd, was so rude and patronizing. I am a guest in your town. She brought it to my attention that she had to clean up a lollipop stick and there was no eating on the bus. People in the back said they were cold several times and she care enough to respond. Then commented on someone having their feet on the "furniture" and then it was about someone smoking at the bus stop and their mother should have taught them better. I did not know the stops so I rang the bell early and she asked who rang the bell? I said I had and she adked are you' getting off? Which should have been obvious. I said no. The next stop was mine and she refused to open the back door for me. I think you should think about replacing this local girl with someone who might actually like her job. She is a poor representative for this community.

Showed up 15 mins late and we missed it because we gave up after it was 12 mins late. Missed out on seeing both Saxman totem poles and Totem Night parks because they can't seem to stick to the posted schedule. Seems pretty unreliable for anyone visiting

A great Transit system. With the double map app for seeing where the bus is in real time so I don't have to wait in the cold or rain, and the nixle alert system to let me know if the bus is delayed or route closures due to snow, it makes riding the bus a snap.

Happened to me more than twice: a situation where i was completely passed by the bus at a bus stop... and two situations where i wasnt QUITE at the bus stop and was running and waving it down as it passed me but they never care to stop

Never on time. Sometimes they just don’t show up. The worst public transit I’ve ever experienced.

Drive stopped and waited so he would not have to make another run. We got stranded in downtown. Day pass was a waste of money.
