First time I have ever had to hire an attorney, I went into this not know what to expect. Blake came highly recommended by a local business. First thing I noticed was the down to earth office. Blake was up front, comforting and told me what to expect and what he expected. He was friendly, talked to me like he was an older brother and made this whole experience easy and with as less stress as possible. No legal matters are fun, but Blake helped me every step of the way. Everyone from Mrs. Tori answering the phone to Mrs. Beth answering when Blake wasn’t available was the best experience it could have possibly been. I would HIGHLY recommend the Crawford Law Firm for any legal needs you may have.

Reluctantly do not recommend...

I was told to seek Beth Crawford. Got Blake Crawford since she was/is on maternity leave?

Initial phone consultation was OK. Tried to address specific concerns I had with lack of communication with previous attorney. Blake kept trying to avoid that conversation... telling me folks fire attorneys all the time... and not really addressing my underlying concerns.

More significantly... I was told "retainer" during our phone call and the email I received the next day also had "retainer" in the subject line, BUT... the actual legal contract said "flat fee" without any level of service assured. Subsequent email inquired about this discrepancy... and assurances of communication were mad, but not put into any written form.

Didn't get decent answers to my concerns, retainer wasn't a retainer, so I waited 6 weeks to try and contact the original attorney I was told to seek. Instead, I got a polite email today... not from Beth Crawford, but from Blake... telling me to seek representation elsewhere.

Might be a solid law firm, but I never got to talk to the actual attorney I was recommended to talk to... didn't feel listened to, was sent a contract that was different from what I was told, and when I waited to talk to the original person I sought... the initial person intervened again to turn me away.

So if you go with this firm... I advise communicating carefully and in writing.

I hope you have a better experience than I had... and I wasn't even a customer since I never signed the contract or gave up my $$$ entering into a contract with 1) no guarantee of service or 2) ability to walk away with my remaining $$$ (flat fee keeps it all).

Was playing cards with friends and a woman in the group inquired about a decent divorce attorney. She asked specifically about Beth Crawford, saying the woman has a solid reputation, but how her husband ran interference and she never got to talk to her. We shared notes and basically it was the same experience. Mr. Crawford interfered and neither of us were able to actually talk to Ms. Crawford.

Basically I don’t trust Blake. His initial claim of calling my review a false-flag, “doing business in 2020” and bogus reviews is just playing the victim because his threats to remove my review or get sued didn’t work.

As for Mr.Crawford claiming he gave me a free consultation... if that’s his consultation, beware x2. I was very clear about seeking his wife and not him, and he claimed that him and his wife work as a team, so anything I shared with him would be like sharing with her. Blake even implied that I’d get the both of them for the same price. Again, this was after I told him I wasn’t really looking for him, but for her. She was the one with the good reputation (and I’d had luck with female attorney’s in the past).

Blake still can’t get his facts right in his response to my initial review, referring to a flat-fee as a retainer AGAIN. And no, Blake didn’t follow up as he has falsely claimed. I was the one who reached out, not him, and it was over the same discrepancy he still can’t get right. When he suggested I write up my concerns… I realized I needed to wait for his wife, not him. Maybe she would listen.
In his quoting my email… Blake tries to make that about him, rather than his wife. Yes, I stopped communication with Blake at that point… he was a dead end, and I waited until her leave was initially projected to end. When Blake interfered with my efforts again and told me to seek legal representation elsewhere. That’s when I left my initial review.

I was willing to let his misleading response go, until my friend in our card-playing group mentioned her experience.

So again, I’ve heard that Beth Crawford is a solid family law attorney. As for Blake, my concerns remain, and my caution to others is reinforced.

I went in to retrieve some paperwork that I was told would be ready on the October 23rd, 2018 and was told by the receptionist that is he would call me when she got it ready. This information is extremely detrimental to the guardianship of my son. My mother retained this attorney and I went to court on October 22, 2018. I was railroaded by being served with false documents if a hearing that I was not even represented by a public defender. The presiding honorable Judge Wade Narahmore granted temporary guardianship to Donna Coburn, my absentee mother. Now she has withdrawn him from lakeside school and planning to move him back to her home in sulphur Oklahoma this Sunday. I was told this was illegal and I still have no attorney.
