My name is Dawn I came into ER yesterday eve from YC to be seen. Everyone we spoke to and even in passing was pleasant and kind. Jason was my nurse and was awesome. He was professional and informational. After he spoke to the Dr he set me up for chest x-rays and 2 nasal cultures. (Covid, Flu) I didn't get the Dr name, lovely young woman w/a kind approach, examined me and explained her diagnosis and that she would have my Rx called into my pharm of choice. Sure enough, I picked it up today. So, Thank you to all the ER staff. Your awesome.

Sincerely,
Dawn C.

0 Stars perfectly fitting for there Hospital, clinic,Er.
They were completely unprofessional accused me of wanting a prescription and or a other type 💉. When I was there for imagery and checking newer um deeper pelvic pain level 1-10. I told them I already had medicine from my primary doctors office.Trying to help I mentioned the effectiveness of some medicine as of late on me after surgery, plus basically what my surgeons recommended and don't recommend, which seem to have aggravated him.

The NP was like all I can give you is toradol, without looking at my Medical records as of late apparently, I thought if he did he would known better. That particular offered T shot 💉 is a no from surgeons last recommendations from spine clinic team at UC Davis, six months after spine fusion post llif. So all I asked in response was why? No I didn't need that I told him. I told them also what they was offering me for pain hasn't worked in past as well. The Np seeing me there at Gridley he then flipped out on me was rude and accused me of wanting a certain form of pain relief, which I didn't. Me wanting imagery done for that days visit more anyhow. He told me he was done with that doctor visit, in the end I ended up leaving the ER.

Keep in mind they didn't even send in a imagery tech person to the room to take me to X-ray department of hospital. Which is what I actually needed, and was there at that Hospital to get that day. I still need a pelvic X-ray for new deeper pain feeling. They never even bother'd looking at the MyCharts, that was too much professionalism and level of care for them to facilitate. It seems in my last experience there, Im done with them. That T shot could have caused more health issues than good. If you want the best care locally drive one town over to Enloe in Chico California, they are very very professional in comparison.

My roommate is chronically ill so we visit Orchard often. Long-term staff are either blatantly rude or simply don't care. I realize healthcare is stressful work but taking that out on patients is beyond unacceptable. My roommate and I were told by staff that they find his chronic issues "annoying" and that I should give up on him. I frequently overhear crying patients being told to shut up. If you care about your wellbeing, go to Enloe Hospital in Chico. Their timeliness & quality of care is abolutely worth the travel time even for emergencies.

I had a bowel resection and was very debilitated before entering the hospital. I found the doctors, therapists and nurses to be extremely thorough, kind, and helpful at one of the most difficult times in my life. I am deeply grateful for the excellent care close to home.

From the front desk, through the ER, everyone was kind, efficient, and very caring. There was a snafu with the x-rays, as those are read off-site, but other than that, I have no complaints. All of the staff were amazing.

Aside from their ct scans missing a whole brain tumor a couple years ago, i had a few negitive experiences. I had a kidney stone and was 10/10 pain and they ignored me for a long time leaving me in pain, then finally the nurse came and wanted to give me morphine but i didnt want it, i wanted something else but she was persistant and kept arguing with me and being in that much pain i didnt wanna keep bickering about it so she gave it to me and it hurt so bad. A shock of like burning tense whiplash went through my whole body it was super painful. Why did she have to argue why couldnt she just get me something else it hurt so bad. Another time I had a blonde lady draw blood for labs and she burts my vein so bad that i bled through the gauze and medical wrap and left a steady trail of blood down the hall i walked. It took a lot of pressure to get it to stop, and i have a scar from it on my wrist. This last time i went i had stroke symptoms. It woke me out of a dead sleep. I felt like of i fell back asleep i was going to die, my arms were numb, i had a unbreakable headache for 3 days, i was disoriented, they did minor tests like sticking out my tounge and raising my arms and said its not a stroke, then put me in a room and was loudle telling other nurses so i could hear that i was only having anxiety. The nurse diagnosed me with anxiety before i had anything done, just by purely looking at me. Basically dismissing anything i felt and modicating her other nurses to ignore me because ya know 'its just anxiety' So i was alone in this room for 7 hours with an IV and not being checked on or anything. I had to get up and threaten to leave several times for them to give me a CT scan the doctor requested. Then like 2 hours after the CT and still not getting results i ended up leaving with a id rather die at home mentality. Youd think after the whole brain tumor thing they wouldnt be so quick to dismiss me when i tell them how i feel and that its not anxiety. It was not busy at all when i went, there was no other paintents in the waiting room when i got there, i did not need to sit in that room all day for nothing. I was so sick of it i coinsidered taking butterfly cathider out myself and walking out. The IV ran out and the machiene screamed in my ear for like 20 mins while im there with a painful headache and stroke symptoms. I took off my blood pressure cuff and the thing on your finger that reads your oxygen after 6 hours and so those were going off too and everyone just tuned it out and ignored it. Im not one to complain about doctors im super grateful to doctors. My doctor that night was alright too but the nurses who dont listen take you seriously and megect you... ugh. No wonder my friends who work for the morgues pick up from there so frequently, and refuse to go there themselves. Its so close i keep trying them again and again hoping my last few times were a fluke but... its pretty consistent. And to the 'its anxiety' lady, that is so wrong you should absolutely not belittle how people are feeling with their health. Especially in an ER! I go to the ER when i feel like im dying otherwise my primary doctor takes walk ins. Your job is not to put off people who feel like they are dying your job is to assist in getting to the bottom of their issue! My mom was told that too and she ended up having MS after being treated like she was crazy. I never got an answer for how i felt i went home took asprin and its been helping. Which is another indication it may have been a type of stroke!

I’ve been here a couple times in the past and was always seen in less than three hours. Went in last night for some eye abrasions and waited over 6 hours for the doctor that never came. It’s ridiculous how long it took considering that it was just me and another person in the lobby. Felt frustrated I had to wait such a long time so I decided to just walk out. I will no longer be coming back again. Horrible service.

I was treated with kindness first and foremost but also RESPECT not just like a number. Other hospitals in this area have zero bedside manner and that's not the case here. All my issues were treated and sent home with exactly what I needed. I can't thank the staff enough for taking care of me this evening. Thank you.

Sincerely L.O
