I was going through a tough divorce. The respondent was unwilling to cooperate with anything and kept getting away with it. One day I have had enough and due to being on a budget searched for options and eventually found this law firm. Their monthly payment plan was convenient and affordable. From day one, Lawyer Nicole Spence was clear with explaining the process, answering my questions, and any concerns I had. Their staff was always extremely friendly, professional, and promptly returned my calls and replied to my emails in a timely manner whenever I reached out. They were efficient in keeping me informed with how my case unraveled until the end. I normally don’t write reviews due to being private with my personal life, but Lawyer Nicole Spence went up to bat on my behalf and outdid herself. She executed with precision and was there to get the job done without beating around the bush. Thank you!

Here is some advice for customers considering this attorney and staff to take on their case. Frankly they really do not care about your case. The attorney cares about the monthly retainer. The longer the case takes the more the attorney makes My case had not reached further than mediation after 10 months. Some of this is normal in a divorce or family case where parties do not agree. The fee structure setup by the firm is actually not beneficial to you if both parties do not agree. That is not the fault of the lawyer or the staff. So to be fair do not hire an attorney with a monthly fee if both sides do not agree. You will pay more than a $300-$400 plus hour attorney.
Now the reason for the 1 star is their total lack of regard for your time as a paying client. If you request any communication outside of emails then you will be disappointed. They will not call you to advise you on your case they will simply tell you check your email. I myself have requested a call and that request was refused by the Attorney stating they are too busy. Now if you are paying someone to provide a service and they state they are too busy ask yourself is this person the right attorney for your case.
Now after $5000 paid to the attorney they have to right to tell you they no longer will represent you which happened to me.
So remember if you can get a call about your monthly retainer payments but can not get a call about your case you already know the answer. You get what you pay for....Trust me

Good luck in your search I found Karla Campos esq. and so far no complaints.

Just read the Attorney's reply. Her reply speaks for it self. Beware of an owner of a company that attacks clients after they express their experience with their company. Ms. Spence its an opportunity to improve your skills. Don't take it personal.

Successful Stepparent Adoption: First we would like to thank Nicole and her paralegal Megan for their persistence in our very complicated case. We started our journey back in February 2023 and ended in March 2024, at no fault of ours or Nicole's. Nicole was on top of every hurtle we had to jump and covered every avenue to help us accomplish revoking the rights of a very absent and dangerous parent. What really impressed us the most was how prepared she was for the final trial for the stepparent adoption. She had all of her notes, her timelines, her questions and connected all of the dots to tell the real story. Because of this, we were successful and won the case! This must be the bottom of the barrel of law firms in lee county. 3 months and $1500 for absolutely nothing… What a waste of my time and money. Unbelievable, after spending my hard earned money and for the secretary to hang up on me, not once, but twice.

LIES I have receipt to prove I paid $500 a month for the three months while I was represented by you. All I asked was for a motion to be heard… that is still pending because you did not set a hearing. Also I did not raise my voice or speak in a disrespectful manner. What a joke!
