I was rather highly disappointed in Alaska Legal Services Corporation. I filled out my application and turned it in. I am a single divorced mother of 2 who can not afford a lawyer nor am I intelligent when it comes to filing things for the court. So this companies help was and is greatly needed for me. I received a call on a Sunday when I was in church and told to call back and talk to Crystal. I called back left a message over their answering machine waited and called back again 4 more times. I'm not sure who checks their machine but I can rest assure you that they are not doing their job and passing off messages left on their machine. I also sent a few emails trying to contact them due to not receiving any call backs. I received a letter in my mail box stating that they had reached out but did not hear back from me and if they don't they would have to drop my application. After receiving that in the mail I called many more times as well as emailed them because I really need the help and didn't want to be dropped. Sadly never once did I get any effort on their end in trying to contact me other than 1 phone call and 1 letter stating that they haven't heard from me. Greatly disappointed in the lack of effort from this company. So if you are looking for help be warned don't expect much. I doubt they will even see this review.. but I hope they do and make some changes. You can't blame this lack of effort on covid19.

I have now sent my application 2 different times and received one call back from a private # when i made it clear they couldn't call from a blocked number. I returned the call and left a message and never got a call back. I've left a total of 3 messages and I receive nothing.
