Should be a 0 stsr!! The absolute WORST most unethical "firm" I have ever dealt with for any matter in my life! These scam artists falsify records retroactively making up their fees as they go, refuse to provide any type of itemized billing explaining what they are robbing people blind for, easily well over 100% of what I ever fell behind to the HOA to begin with when it was all said and done! I had some serious personal financial struggles I explained to my criminal HOA, but continued to pay them as much as possible every time I could scrape together a payment or 2 at a time but still they sent my account to these vultures who use manipulative scare tactics to demand payment for services they have not provided.

By the time they sent me their first document I had already paid my account to my HOA in full. They left court documents on the porch of the property I do not live at and not my address so I didn't know about them right away (tenant travels and is away a lot) but the documents had never even been filed with the courts and had no case number on them, I couldn't even file an answer with the court, it was just a scare tactic to sue me ONLY for their made up fees and nothing I legitimately owe the HOA who had already been paid! I had a $0 account balance and then surprise, 2 WEEKS LATER It magically had another $600+ of "legal fees" pop up on it!! For what?!! They did zero work, moved a few papers around on a desk which I already paid $500+ for that had been tucked into the fees I paid to begin with when I took care of the entire account!! I would've been able to pay off my actual bill and get myself unburied financially a lot faster if I didn't have to make multiple additional payments worth of fees to these crooks!

I do not owe them a dime and I've now filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General, I will take this as far as I need to in order to ensure this predatory practice stops! I will not sit by and be victimized by these unethical terrible people, I don't honestly know how they sleep at night causing people so much stress and anxiety. RUN if these people have anything to do with your property!!

They gave me many options and Adrienne has always been nice. It's annoying that they don't have an online payment option. Sending a check via certified mail every month sucks. They also charge a lot, it's very expensive if you have to deal with them. I recommend avoiding them if possible. There are worse debt collectors out there. Most of these reviews are just mad at the HOA.

Do not have your HOA sign a Retainer Agreement with this firm. They just overbill you and do not comply with the terms of their agreement - especially regarding emails and phone calls being included. You WILL be double-billed. Also, if you want muscle and zealous representation from this firm, go else where. You will not get the results you are paying for. We were told we would be credited back on invoices with overbilling, but never received the credit after 1 year of promises. Instead, we got additional invoices with an increase from $250 to $320/month for our retainer plus agreement which saved us not one penny. to pay on this agreement monthly. In the end, after not agreeing with their billing charges and their litigation attorney's urge for us to just settle and pay a contractor who could not prove they completed the work being charged, the relationship was severed. Thank God! However, they want to keep our larger copen collection accounts for their own profit....LOL!

Not a good experience. We were asking for a quote to redo some documents and decided not to move forward as the quote was too high. We then receive a $222 invoice just for them to provide us with the quotes. They do not have signed contracts, are not transparent with their billing, and will nickel and dime you even when no services have been offered.

Adrienne is extremely unprofessional and difficult to speak to. Almost all of our emails and interactions left me feeling upset and disappointed. This company does not work with individuals in a respectable manner. They only want to benefit the HOA management company. I would leave 0 stars if I could.

David and Arianne are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Their understanding of the nuances in the HOA laws are valuable and they are great listeners. Only positive things to say about this firm!

This company represents Hammersmith HOA, and they are bigger criminals than the HOA themselves. I am turning this company into the attorney general with the examples that I have of not being able to communicate with the law firm.

Be sure to document everything that is said between you and this firm. All mail should be certified, all phone calls recorded. They will lie to you, get information wrong, and try to make more money off you no matter what. This firm is malicious and, at times, incompetent. They do not serve the HOAs or the homeowners, they serve the HOA management companies.
