I left several messages on the general voicemail. I never received a returned call. I was able to track down an email from the President & CEO of the company (Diego Cartagena). He told me he would forward my message to Bertha. She never got in touch with me so I informed Diego and he said he would forward my email to Michael. Guess what he hasn't gotten back with me. This company isn't worth your time.

They took five weeks to return a call at an unlikely hour to only leave a generic reply message with no point of contact to contact, even went to the office just to be told i would be contacted by someone in a week, ultimately resulting in an eviction. I'm now one of many thousand experiencing the heart-wrenching effects of homelessness.

The attorney, Alan Zenoff that works at Bet Tzedek is very knowledgeable! He is a very good listener and takes the time needed to gather the information to be able to research the various legal issues that I discussed with him over the years to create viable options to pursue and resolve my legal issues. (including contract law, domestic building & safety regulations - info/support, general law, etc.)

I found their legal clinic to be a completely worthless waste of time, frankly. Literally none of my questions were answered -- except in the most general, superficial manner possible (in many cases, they simply repeated information back to me that *I* had already provided them). At this point, I don't know anything more than what I knew before I contacted them.

I know that attorneys' time is extremely expensive, but I spent a fair amount of time preparing for this clinic -- and I feel like that time was anything but reciprocated (or respected).

They never answer the phone. Leave a message and someone will call you back a month later. If you missed the call (because you're on an important call) they'll leave a message with no name. You call back and no one picks up. Why even exist!

This place is a JOKE! My Father is 84 and is a victim of Financial Elderly Abuse. I found this place after doing some research. Someone went out to see him before Christmas 2023 and said that in 10 days he would hear back from someone. Today is 01/23/24 and after leaving several messages still he hasn't heard back from anyone. Does anyone on here know how to reach a real person at this place?
