In 2021 I was hit by a car while out on a ride with my wife. Bike Law was highly recommended by other local cyclists and with good reason. I am very thankful that I reached out to Wilborn Law. Rachael was my first contact and it was clear early on that, as a cyclist, she really understood what we were dealing with. Working with Peter and Rachael has been the only easy part of my crash and recovery. This entire group is kind, compassionate and determined. They are cyclists as well with a singular law focus so they really understand the reality of dealing with insurance companies and the emotional toll as well. They maintained strong communication and always kept us informed of the status of the case as well as what the process would be like. I am truly pleased with the settlement outcome and I'm grateful for their professionalism and friendship.

Rachael, Peter, and the team at Bike Law are the best in the business. I was hit by an ATV during an Ironman race and broke 8 ribs, suffered facial lacerations, among other things. My local attorney told me that it would be near impossible to pursue those who were in the wrong. In desperation, I reached out to Bike Law. Rachael was incredibly receptive, kind, and tenacious. They pursued my case hard and got me a settlement that, at least, covered my medical expenses, bike, and other items. They are awesome and I highly recommend them.

Bike Law was recommended to me by another local attorney who was representing me in a cycling accident caused by a low hanging wire. I was rear-ended by a distracted driver in June of 2020 and Bike Law was with me from the very start - Tom in Virginia called me after hours the evening of the crash and Peter, Rachael, and their team came on board shortly thereafter and were absolutely wonderful in shepherding me through this process. I wish we hadn't had to go right up to trial in October of 2023 to get a good valuation for my injuries but the Bike Law team was in my corner doggedly fighting for me and representing my interests as a cyclist at every step. I went to Bike Law after my incident and extremely glad that I did! The staff are kind and personable and it was so helpful to have them take care of everything. We obtained the full requested amount out of court which I am super grateful for! Further, I was very happy to support the business because they are dedicated to helping bicyclists which encourages all levels of government to make the roads safer us. On January 1, 2020. I was rear-ended after exiting a traffic circle. While the injuries were relatively minor (compared to what usually happens when an auto hits a cyclist - fractured acromion, hairline fracture of my C7 cervical disk) my bike was totaled, and almost every piece of clothing I had on was ruined. At the urging of my older son, we contacted Bike Law and were put in touch with Peter Wilborn. At every step of the way, Peter and his staff kept me up to date on the status of the case, even though the pandemic certainly slowed down and complicated things. At no point was I dismissed for asking questions, or told anything like, "when there's something to report, we'll let you know." Long story short - the driver contested our claim, and we eventually went to depositions, after which the driver caved and acceded to all of our demands.
I can't thank Peter and his staff enough for all they did on my behalf. Needless to say, if I ever find myself in a similar situation, I will not hesitate to contact Bike Law. I highly recommend anyone else with a bike crash issue to do the same.
