Our tax advisor, Lucy, is all the above and her customer service far exceeds our expectations. I highly encourage others to come, such a great and pleasant office.

-Negative: H&R Block showered me with machine generated emails reminding me to get my taxes done. One or two reminders are fine, but 15 or 20 are a pain and unnecessary,
-My tax preparer suggested to me that I vote for a specific presidential candidate if I wanted another tax refund next year from the state of Colorado. Federal candidates do not determine Colorado tax policy. Additionally, this suggestion was for a candidate who appears to be a criminal and has already been convicted of sexual assault and fraud. Additionally, he is charged with a multitude of additional felonies. This made me feel very uncomfortable.
-The price for a half hour of work was high.
-Positive: My taxes were done quickly and I believe accurately and my preparer found extra deductions that increased my refund well beyond my expectations.
Overall, this was a positive experience and I plan to use H&R Block next year and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had made an appointment online to get my taxes done virtually due to my schedule being a bit busy. I followed prompts I was given and was told that my tax pro would be in contact with me if they needed anything. My tax pro was Lucila Zdobinski. There has been no communication on her part. I had sent her a couple messages before hearing back and when she did it was rude! I sent her a message back requesting help & here I am a week later with no response from her. Poor communication and customer service on her part. Now I have wasted so much time waiting when I could’ve moved forward with a different tax pro. Ridiculous.

I just love the peace of mind that Dale gives me when he takes over doing my returns. He's quick (quicker than the computers were today actually!), what would take me days (especially the investment parts) to do, he litterally does in an hour. And I don't have to worry that I did something wrong. I know he knows his stuff & it's done right.

After the advisor struggled to input the information from my 1099-B for over 20 minutes, she informed me that since the appointment was made online only one hour was allotted. She said she would take my info to complete my tax return and call me when it was done. The appointment was in the morning and I waited the rest of the day. After calling the office twice to get answers for when I should expect my filing (with no returned calls), I ended up driving to the office to fire H&R Block and retrieve my documentation. I was then assured my tax return would be completed the next day. I allowed H&R Block to complete my return. That night I received a call to make another appointment for the next day. I expected my initial appointment to finish my return and not require a follow on appointment. With a cost of $381 to H&R Block in tax prep fees plus a returning customer, I should not be rushed out and communication should be better. I will not use H&R Block next year.

We had been going the HR Block for over 20years. Never a problem until our 2019 return was audited and mistakes found by the IRS. Thinking we where covered by the PEACE OF MIND insurance we felt we would only have to pay the tax. Big surprise when the preparer did not own up to her mistake and we got hit for over $5000 dollars in penalties. So if you're going to have your taxes done here, don't bother with the peace of mind insurance its worthless, when the preparers don't own up to their mistakes. And be careful on who they set you up with to do your taxes. Ask questions

Overpriced and their piece of mind warranty is useless.
Be aware everyone. I filed with them last year and this year. The issue we got that last year Dale did our taxes and forgot to add one W2 to return that resulted in incorrect return. We found that he forgot to do that this year and you would think it would be very good thing that we found and not IRS but it is not because the blame was made on us because we signed those documents. And suddenly instead of last year refund we owe huge amount of back taxes. So do your own taxes and pay way less and with less errors than going to specialist that make mistakes and then put all blame on you and you end up paying the price. I am not coming back to this location ever and I am very upset that I did it this year.

To summarize do not sign anything without fully reading every single line in when they go in and ask you to click to sign.
