Of course, things do happen in life. Life will undoubtedly involve disagreements, and they will almost always result in legal action. Located at 100-146 N Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, today known as Deep Greenwood, Historic Greenwood is the foundation of Black success and distinction in business and commerce, inspiring countless others around the nation to emulate it. The existence of this small business and myself, as well as a chapter in Tulsa's history, might be cancelled by a single lawsuit.

We were nearly there in 2016. From 2016 until 2020, we hired five other lawyers, but they failed to finish the work; instead, they filed pointless documents that never addressed the lawsuit's allegations. They merely kicked the can farther. We found hope and a dream team of lawyers when we met with the The Brewster & De Angelis law firm, especially Clark O. Brewster, Corbin Brewster, and Mbilike M. Mwafulirwa. In a matter of months, they were able to conduct research and fight for us more tenaciously than any legal firm could ever do, and the lawsuit was eliminated.

As president of the nation's oldest black-owned business chamber, the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, I can firmly say that this law firm's handling of this case has blessed me, the Historic Greenwood District, and the next generation of Greenwood descendants and stewards of the community's dream. Again, this legal firm won this lawsuit honorably and with respect. We are very grateful to them.
