BUSINESSES BEWARE!!
I contracted with California Accounts Services to help me collect money from clients who were not paying on their accounts. California Accounts Services did not pay me as it reads in our contract 50% of all monies they collected. I started asking them over 2 years ago for copies of the checks that they said that they sent to me. California Accounts Services continued to send me a list of the accounts that they collected but no cancelled checks. This continued until one person paid me directly (who was in collections). I notified my biller asking her to notify California Accounts Services so that her credit standing could be corrected. Then California Accounts Services aggressively came after me for 50% of what this person had paid me. I let them know that they still owed me money and without the proof of payment (the cancelled checks) I would not pay them. California Accounts Services only showed 2 cancelled checks due to all other checks being 2 years or more old. If they had responded correctly when I started asking for the copies of the cancelled checks they could have proven that they paid me. They waited because they actually did not pay me. They are threatening to put me in collections if I don't fork over $245.00 to them immediately. Please hire a different collection agency to help you with your business. I think this is called "theft".

the person with a Hispanic accent was rude. She asked me what I did professionally, none of her business. I'll never deal with this agency again after paying my debt off. They need to learn more respect during this difficult period

Update: I DID pay my debt via money order and got no response that it's paid and taken off my credit report. It's been over a week. Will never deal with this agency again

Unreal! The doctor's office immediately sent this to collection, even though 1/2 of the balance was paid a month before. We paid the doctor's office directly and are still getting their pink warning paper. Check your records Ca Accounts Service!!!

I paid the debt in the website. Now I can not check the account to see if it's still there. When I check my credit report, it's still has the balance. Paid this last week.

I think this a Scam place. I got something in the mail about a medical bill, but my HMO pays for most services rendered, while I pay for the co pay. I haven’t been to the doctors In years, in fact the last visit was just to get a referral for the dermatologist. I called my doctor’s office and reception said I didn’t have an outstanding charge or anything.
Seems kind of sus. Stay woke fam.

Not what I expected from a collection agency. They were friendly and did exactly what they said. Within 30 days of payment, collection was removed from my credit report.
