I've used the services for Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia for at least four different legal issues over the course of several years. I cannot praise them enough for their service, the volunteer service of the attorneys, and the sound legal advice that I have been given! Everyone that I've encountered was professional, patient and subject matter experts. I've referred them numerous times to family and friends!

I had almost given up on my case when a neighbor referred me to Christian Legal Services. I did not have much time to get my appeal in and was able to go to a clinic down the street from me the very next day. Bill Rupert was my lawyer and sat with me for over an hour and a half discussing my case, picking apart all of the details and finding aspects to dispute I had overlooked. I went away with a better understanding of my case and validated in my experience that I was not given due process. Mr. Rupert continued to help me create a brief for the court and his help has been invaluable. I would highly recommend CLS!

This is not a good Christian Center to represent African American CHRISTIAN Woman. The previous Attorney I was assigned to knew that I had a very hard time finding an attorney due to my income and conflict of interest. My attorney had poor communication and was not reliable. I called the receptionist to get a different attorney and she said as I quote ( You can tell the admin what happened, I will not relay that message). Court is approaching soon and I needed that communicated. I called back and she said no more.... I HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE ANGRY! YOU ALL KNOW THAT my Mother is trying to ruin my life again as I communicated this. I did not deserve to be abandoned.

I am just heartbroken I feel like this place has abandoned me I have been calling and leaving messages trying to find out what is going on and it has been nothing. I use them to help me with a court matter went to court and everything. And still can't see my daughter now the court is telling me that they cannot even see where we went to court try to get in contact with the lawyer and she's telling me that she's retired. Okay but you are my lawyer where is this paperwork. As I keep calling her she keeps telling me that she's going to work on my case even though she's not with this company anymore keep telling me that she's falling but everytime I call the court they can't see nothing or my anything in the mail I feel so lost and so hopeless and all I want is my daughter. As of right now I don't even know what to do numerous people keep telling me to call the lawyer board. But nobody wants to get anybody in trouble. I just want to help that I thought I was getting but I'm not and now I'm back in the same boat and still getting no calls.

I had a problem with the IRS. I spent about 80 hours contacting the IRS, another 20 hours getting help from my Senator's office, more hours and money, trying to contact the White House, Treasury Department Secretary, and my bank, all in the course of TWO years.

After half an hour at CLC, and an hour of homework, and poof! It's finally resolved.

I did not know what to expect. I have never had to have a lawyer before. Ted Hoppe, our attorney, was very professional, very compassionate and very thorough. My husband and I felt very relaxed and at ease and left after meeting with him with a feeling that our problem would be taken care of.

I had a few family court hearing within a short window of time. So i reached out to the Christian Legal Clinic. To my surprise, I was seen immediately for my first counsoultation with Kelly E. Fratamico Esq. I've had attorneys in the past, but Kelly was the best! Very kind, compassionate, empathetic, and brilliant! Every attorney I have had for family court came off as very cold and not very supportive, but Kelly didn't come off as just an attorney. She made you feel like a friend....
