Want to start of with a big thank you to all who handled my adoption as well as guardianship of a person and state.

My case was a long case not because the attorneys or lawyers made it long but because my case was prolong due to my bank not having enough experience on how to handle my now daughter life insurance and I had too many court order from judge ultimately I change banks and it was fast and easy however Covid hit my adoption some how got a bit delayed and I also needed some documentation that was a bit hard to get but once I got that document it was fast and I always had a piece of mind knowing Charlene was there to answer and help with any questions or concerns I might have. UPDATE: Theresa just called to see about the review left, my husband said “I think you all are disgusting and absolute trash” she laughed & hung up. This place does not care about you as a person. We even told them about a negative experience we had with a previous family law attorney, they did the exact same thing. Theresa is actually the person I talked to twice about being over charged. I wrote down the time/date/person. She reads the notes & blamed it on upper management. Said she would call right back, never did. Haha. They genuinely do not care about their clients whatsoever, they only care about billing you as much as possible. They do not care about the multiple Ives they ruin.

It’s all true. I could go into great detail, I’ll keep it as short as possible. My husband has paid child support for 8 years, never missed a payment. His kids are in a different state. Mom found out he remarried, decided to take him to court to get $2,200 a month from $800. We put $2,500 as a retainer. Our thought was if it’s going to go up that much, he wants to get the kids in our home more. We pay $175 every week. It was the agreement that was worked out. They call us at least once a week saying you need to make a $1000 payment, you need to make a $3,000 payment etc. it’s not just been once or twice, it’s constant. We found out that we have been paying for 3 attorneys without notice or consent. We let them know that we only authorized one attorney. They kept billing us for three & never called us to try to fix it. We went to court & the awesome attorneys here made it to where he’s now paying $2,700 a month & no visitation. Incase you missed it, that’s $500 more than mom petitioned for. How does that happen. We even provided proof mom was hiding income. Then, to top it off we got another call today telling us they are putting a lien on our house for our large balance… mind you, we are still making payments. Haven’t missed a single payment. We have even made the extra payments they “need to go to court” this place is unethical & disgusting. My husband is a good dad that just wanted to see his kids. He spent 10 years in the Marine Corps, served his country in Afghanistan to come home to this.

Worst family attorney I could ever hire, I showed up at their office and presented my case, they looked at at it, then they looked at each other and said.. "this is an easy one". I asked "what is easy?" They told me not to worry about anything and that they were going to take care of everything.. I was assigned to Stephen Nagy who resulted completely incompetent. In all of our hearings he was constantly agreeing with court orders saying "yes your honor" . Stephen Nagy did not show any interest in my case at any time during my case. I ended up paying way more than initially requested in the family court guidelines and paying Cleary & Hammond a ridiculous amount for absolutely nothing.
