I would not recommend this law firm. They took on my very simple estate case and I had to walk them through everything they needed to do because most of it was just common knowledge. They took a huge retainer from me and then took on large expenses that was unnecessary and not approved by me in advance simply because they did not know what they were doing. I have since received a partial refund of retainer and am waiting for refund of rest because they purchased this huge bond that I did not need. Bond company is trying to rectify. Without me asking, they agreed to forego fees and charge for expenses only which was a huge, unneeded bond! I was looking forward to working with an AA, female-owned law group but what a let down.

Being out of state can create more difficulties when needing a lawyer. We were originally referred to a different MD lawyer by a NJ lawyer friend. As we went through the case at the very beginning, our original lawyer indicated that we would be a better fit with the Collins Group. Tiffani Collins met with us immediately. The whole process took years mostly because the pandemic slowed our forward momentum.
