CLSEPA is the bone of our community!

It happened a lot during the pandemic in my family. In order to seek a bright future for my family, I have no choice but to be in a fighting mood to try to recover everything back. During this process, we received a lot of support and help from our community. I was amazed by CLSEPA'S determination and efficiency. I appreciate all the kindness and encouragement from CLSEPA to support us to go through this situation, and finally to find solutions to overcome all the difficulties.

I thank Ms.Townsend and Mr. Fitzsimmons's supports during the whole process. First of all, I thank you for always prompt communication responses. Secondly, I thank you for always professionally guiding me to navigate the law in California. Last but not least, I thank you for supporting me with the effective and efficient solutions for my family's current situation.

I hope everything will be going very well with the CLSEPA!

I've been there a 3 times requesting legal assistance .
They never given any kind of help, they given me the run around every time . Last time I needed legal representation for a removal proceeding at immigration court hearing and they gave me the run around for more than 2 years , finally 6 days before my hearing they called me to let me know that they couldn't help me , I mean why wait till the very end to let me know. The outfit is just out to collect money from donors but they don't do anything to help the community.
THEY ARE RIPPING DONORS OFF

Do your research before getting service. I can just imagine how many people have been scam by the staff this place is a setting for failure for most of the community. Look at how many new staff and how many are gone is because they don’t care about the community or the service they provide. They deport people and will ruin your life. Meriam Kelley. Ilyce Shugal .Jenefer Smith. I been trying to contact this staff members regarding my immigration case matter and i have not heard from anyone because of fraudulent immigration behavior.

They represent criminals, Justice is not in their books. Truth is irrelevant and fairness is nonexistent. They try to split a hair and muddy the issue.

This organization is operated by a group of ambulance chasers. They represent drug dealers, liars, and thieves. Do not give them money. They are scum. They are just out to try to get money from victims of criminals. They also represent people who do not live in East Palo Alto or San Mateo County. Don't trust them. They are shyster lawyers.

I do pro bono legal work for CLSEPA at their criminal record expungement clinics. Their staff are dedicated to helping people in the EPA community, and they use their expertise to guide the volunteer lawyers like me to get their clients the results that they are entitled to under the law.
I do not recognize the organization described in the review from 2014. It makes no sense to call CLSEPA 'ambulance chasers'. They don't take a percentage of their clients' damages awards, the way that contingency lawyers do. They are a nonprofit, offering legal services that improve the lives of low-income families throughout the region. If anyone doesn't agree with that mission, then obviously they don't have to donate time or money to CLSEPA. But calling CLSEPA 'scum' because you don't support that mission, is not appropriate.
