A major class action settlement for the company I work at was processed through this company. They sent my $1,300 check to an address I lived at over 2 years ago.

I called over a month ago and gave them the new address, and they said I would have the check by 6/28. Instead of sending a new check they did some kind of mail forwarding for me to receive the old one.

It's now 7/1 and I have yet to receive anything. I am on hold with them right now. I'll keep this review updated as the situation progresses.

UPDATE 1: Still 7/1. As others have mentioned it seems I will have to wait 6-8 weeks for a reissue. So mid-late August at the earliest for a check my peers had received in spring... We will see I suppose. I will update this review by the end of August.

UPDATE 2: I received my check on 8/23. I'm updating my review to 3 stars instead of one because, while I did receive my check, they make it very difficult. Makes sense, I am sure they keep the funds from whatever checks "don't make it" to the right people. Anyways, glad it's over now.

Good luck trying to get in touch with CPT..
I tried to contact them about a class action lawsuit that was in progress from February 2020 to November 2023. They sent out letters about the case with very little information. Attached to the letter was a list of concerns and if our concerns were on the list we were encouraged to email or call.
I have emailed and called repeatedly I have yet to receive a response.

Liars! They never sent my check they send me a reissue check form I filled it out they received it and told me 6-8 weeks 8 weeks passed and nothing I called I was told the check was cashed 2 months before they send me the reissue form which makes no sense.I requested for the original copy of the check with endorsement of course it was cashed with somebody else is signature most likely the company because in my 10 years I lived at my house I have never had mail stolen. But by the looks of the reviews it seems that a lot of people have the same issues. Let’s get together and start a class action law suit against this corrupt company!

A settlement check was mail to the wrong address in dec 2023. I called emailed and updated my address. They sent the check to the wrong address again! Which in turn was stolen and cashed. I called and called. Then then had me fill out more forms and spend my own money and miss work to do all this on an error on their part.

Another 1star rating for this completely incompetent “firm”. I changed my address before settlement checks were sent out. They did not update it and sent it to my old address where i JNEW my ex would throw away or try to cash. Have spent ALL week trying to get a stop order placed and they have given me the supreme run around. Avoid working with CPT at ALL COST!!! They are clearly incapable and don’t give a rip about timely responses or resolutions.

I knew my settlement check wouldn't be on time. They had a month to send it. Big shocker in today's world of incompetence. I'm super excited to call them back on Monday. God job on the poor performance on earning another 1 star review

What a horrible scam of a place. So they sent out my settlement check to the wrong address. So I called and they said that I had to wait a month for them to re-issue another check. Today is the month and day I’m supposed to call back and now they’re telling me I have to wait 6 to 8 weeks for them to approve for me to get another check resent. So that means I won’t get the check for over two months because they still have to “approve” it. Excuse me about we’re living in an age where technology is growing rapidly and you’re telling me that they can process this real quick?
