I’ve worked with this office in the past and was helped by Cynthia. My experience was fine. However I just got off the phone with this office and their receptionist is incredibly rude and condescending. She should be fired and work with the pig farm nearby as her behavior seems to mimic.

Did not complete assigned tasks as she previously agreed and showed extreme prejudice and biased based off her own personal experiences. She was hired as a GAL and failed at her job. Not only did she not speak to any relevant parties (teachers, kids counselor, doctors), but she accepted pictures of a home verse traveling to that home as she previously agreed to. She plays by different rules for each party and I was blessed to have an attorney and judge that saw many problems in her report

If you are in a custody battle and the other side ONLY wants Cynthia as GAL, there’s a reason for that. Her reports are incredibly biased. That is not just my opinion, that is the opinion of another lawyer and a social worker who both serve as GALs. She cherry picks information that makes her “client” look favorable and grossly misrepresents what is written on her own questionnaire. Her reports take a ridiculous amount of time, which is also not a coincidence. It’s to give her “client” a chance to “better their life circumstances.” She is very easily manipulated by narcissists, so if she is picked as your GAL, fight like hell to get a true impartial one. Cynthia is NOT it.

ETA: Thank you Cynthia for your condescending response about what a GAL does. It does not change my review of your performance however because you did not do your job as described in your own response. I’m very aware that a GAL IS NOT SUPPOSED to represent either parent and is SUPPOSED to act in the best interest of the children involved. You did not. You did not talk to all relevant parties, you did not complete all home visits, you didn’t even fact check what was said to you! Do you know how many blatant lies the attorney found in your report? I’m sure you don’t because you don’t care. I feel sorry for any hardworking, loving parent who does their best every single day for their kids that has the misfortune of the courts appointing you to tear them down. P.S. you do know we are in the middle of a global pandemic, right? So there a millions of people whose “life circumstances” aren’t that great right now. You want to take all their kids away too!?

Mrs. Harmon wrote a preliminary report and final report with incorrect information. She wrote about events that never occurred despite been informed and provided evidence that it was lie by the mother. Mrs. Harmon refused to update her own mess. I have reported her to the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission given that lawyers like her deserved to be bar and sent to jail. Over 100 emails with evidence of parental time violations and she did not include any. She served as advisor to the parental time violator and defended the crook lawyer assisting with parenting time violation and court order violations. Stay away from this psycho and ensure if she is allowed to remain an attorney by the bar association, she is not involved with your children,
