If you want an attorney who is going to coddle you and set overly optimistic expectations with regard to what you should expect when your day in court arrives look elsewhere. However if you want an experienced attorney with a very firm grasp of today's justice system and person who will set your expectations accordingly, then you should choose David Golden

There were times when I got the sense David wasn't fully on board with the way I felt about my situation and the imagined outcome. And, I was right. But, David felt the way he did or good reason as I had developed an unrealistic and somewhat naive expectation about what I should expect.

We tend to believe what we hear on television and read in newspapers/internet much of which is nuanced in some way. David, on the other hand, is firmly rooted in reality and utilizes his many years working with prosecuting attorneys as best he can to the advantage of his client.

He knows and respects the people he will have to ultimately have to deal with extremely well. And, I get the sense the feeling is mutual.

There's an old adage 'one should always under promise and over deliver' that's stood the test of time and one which David definitely ascribes to. He definitely over delivered in my case and I will forever be thankful for his efforts..

I hope I am never again faced with the kind of legal predicament I recently had to endure. But, if I should ever land in such a place again I will at least know who to call.

Mr. Golden is a straight shooter, he does not run you around the block, he did a great job of letting us know what our options were, what we should accept and what we could fight for. Contact with his office is on the spot, no putting you off or on hold. His assistant, Stevie, was great at getting questions answered and if she didn’t know she’d find out and call you back or, if warranted, Mr. Golden called you back. We had the best outcome we could hope for and that was due to the excellent representation we had in Mr. Golden! Certainly we all hope we’d never need a defense attorney but if you find you need one I would have no problem highly recommending David Golden!

Of the Lawyers I spoke with, he was the only one who did not inflate my hopes. I went with him for that reason, and the fact that all paperwork was handled quickly (Good job Dar C!). Although it left me feeling worried at times, I knew that on a professional level, his realism was the best way to approach my case. He discussed strategy with me honestly, both positive and negative outcomes. He has the experience to clearly understand (and work productively with!) how the court system works, both superficially and at the nonpublic level.

As I saw him in action in the courtroom, I had no doubt I made the right choice in him! He has known the key people in the courtroom for a long period of time, and he exercised his social etiquette in the courtroom with as much grace and agility as he represented me both on record and behind the scenes. He got me a result that matched my best expectations without inflating my hopes.

My advice other than to go with him: schedule your face time with him in advance. His schedule obviously gets busy, and court dates come up fast. Also, take the time to read the court documents. Your being active and showing interest in the process will rub off well on him.

Should I run into trouble in the future, I would undoubtedly use his services again.

Adam Guzi was as profesional as any Lawyer I have ever dealt with. He was on top of my case weekly. Always responding rapidly with any news of the case. He fought to lower my costs and then actually lowered the percentage of there charge,which put more money in my pocket. That was a pleasant surprise as I never heard of a lawyer lowering there fee.
