I originally contacted Mr. Gonzalez for a child custody case in 2004. I appreciated his honesty when he advised me that going to court would not be in my best interest nor in my children's. Not many attorney's would be so honest. Due to his honesty, I have returned to him over the past 10 years. Although we did not go to court, he has helped me various times in custody matters including assisting my 18 year old son, who was still under a court order due to being in high school, define his legal stance. Despite his family law knowledge, I was greatly pleased when I learned of his experience in other legal fields. He has assisted me not only with my custody issues over the past 10 years but also with an injury and support issues. One of the qualities that I admired most was his availability along with his personal and professional attention. Of all the attorney's that I have dealt with (a total of 6 over the past 19 years) Mr. Gonzalez is the most professional and ethical one I have dealt with. I consider him more than my attorney but a person that I can turn to for honest guidance.

I am not sure what David is good at but child custody battles are not it I paid this man $2,000 to help me get some visitation and eventually some custody of my child David files paperwork like a pro but in court in front of judge he is not convincing of telling your side of the story, he does not make good arguments and the arguments he does makes are very weak.
This man was very insistent that I agree and settled to what the opposite party had proposed. And it seemed very obvious that he wanted to close my case as soon as possible with no hassle to him.

I called the Gonzalez Law Firm to see if I could get assistance with a divorce modification - and he actually took my call. We spoke about my current circumstance, and I could tell just over the phone that he has a high level of integrity and candor - and uses both to assist in establishing an honest assessment of the circumstance. In my case, the conclusion was that I was on the borderline as to whether a modification would work in my favor - he suggested I hold off for a period, instead of rushing into court and possibly having the modification turn against me.
