This owner, Eric Williams is great! He responded when our excursion canceled and he took us on a private whale watching excursion. He was knowledgeable about the history and area. We saw at least 6 whales in about 2 hours. He even tried looking for some bears so that we could see. He absolutely knew what he was doing and how to get close to the whales! I would most definitely use him again and highly recommend his tour business. He also does fishing charters. Check him out!

We booked a halibut fishing expedition with Eric and his wife, Alice. The experience was incredible! Not only did we catch plenty of halibut, but we also watched whales, eagles, and sea otters. The views were incredible, and Eric and Alice extended our tour to give us some extra time to enjoy the nature!

Alice and Eric made our Halibut trip a memorable one in which we all caught Halibut. My teenaged children had a great time. The boat is well equipped and comfortable. The scenery en route to our fishing spot was spectacular. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Great charter. We caught a ton of Halibut.. 15.. and 1 Cod. Host were awesome. We saw a bald eagle swoop down and pluck a fish out of water right next to us. We also saw sea otters and Orcas too off in distance great tour

Had a great day Fishing with Eric at Ear Mountain Charters. It was forecast to get bad in the afternoon but Eric found a spot in the morning and put us on Halibut. I have fished with 5/6 deep sea guides over the years and would rate Eric as a good one. 6 people fishing and one 68” Halibut caught. Everyone caught a fish and all of us caught one in the target range to ship home. You can’t expect a guide to do more than that. Thanks Guys.

Ear Mountain charters was everything we had hoped for for our first Alaskan halibut fishing experience. Eric and his wife Alice were very professional and helpful in landing many fish. I would recommend them to all my friends and hope to fish with them again. They even kept us out past the last minute to try to catch one last fish.

Great day on the water, although I did not get a legal fish, I was surprised when I was the only one on the charter. I told them that I know that they have a charter minimum and would understand if we would cancel the charter. But they would not cancel. A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
