TRIP OF A LIFETIME. If you want to experience Alaska, and I mean the REAL Alaska, book a fishing trip with Captain Remo. This was hands down the BEST day and most thrilling and authentic way to experience this gorgeous, wild state. We drove about an hour from the cruise port and took a 30min hike through a path Remo hand paved. We saw 3 grizzly bears and 2 bald eagles right by the stream where we fished. We caught 5-6 silver salmon and had the time of our lives on the stream. This is undoubtedly the most incredible trip to be taken in Alaska. Captain Remo was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and a wonderful guide. He made us feel safe and enjoy our whole trip. I would do this trip over and over. So grateful for a truly once in a lifetime kind of day.

Amazing stream fishing experience with Remo! He drove us well away from the crowds to a remote stream. We saw five grizzly bears before we even started fishing!
We caught Dolly Varden, Pink and chum salmon - non-stop action.
The scenery was of course top-notch and Remo is a knowledgeable and charismatic guide. Much of the time we were fishing in close proximity to bears and always felt safe as Remo understands bear behavior well - they’re his “spirit animal”. He also does a great job of taking pictures and videos to share with you afterward.
I have hired a number of fishing guides and Remo was the best!

First time fishing the rivers of southeast Alaska, went in with the only expectation to have a good time and was more then BLOWN AWAY and left in utter amazement with the experience Edgewater provided. The early morning car ride was a blast, passing numerous deer and bear only to end at a creek in the middle of nowhere that was our fishing destination. Remo, my guide, was well versed and knowledgeable about everything from knowing where and what holes to fish as well as techniques needed to hook and land numerous species of fish. We caught Steelhead, Sea Run Cutthroat, and Dolly Varden. An amazing day, an amazing experience with amazing people, couldn't have asked for more!

We had a great time with Capt. Remo. He was an awesome guide teaching us the ins and outs about the stream fishing. We also caught close to 200 salmon in 2 days of fishing between the 4 of us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!!

This was more than I could have ever expected. The scenery was just amazing and the amount of salmon we caught blew my mind. Dave was very personable and had so much knowledge about the town and fishing. We will definitely be booking this on our next trip to Alaska.

Our family went fishing with Remo, Chris and Buddydog while on our Alaskan cruise. This was the best thing we did all trip. Both guides are super friendly, chill, and interesting. They took us to three different holes where we caught salmon and trout. We saw a bear on our way back to the car which was super cool. They were accommodating to our group taking pictures of us and our fish, having different types of rods, and providing great lunch recommendations. All and all you must do this excursion it does not disappoint. Also loved the adult bevy on the drive back to wrap up our day.

We had an amazing experience on our river fishing tour. The views were spectacular and the fishing was incredible. I think at one point we all had fish we were reeling in at the same time. We easily caught 50 fish as a group. We had a group of 5, kids (11 and 13), my husband, father in law and myself. Highly recommend.
