If I could give zero stars I would. Totally unprofessional and rude experience with these people! We wasted so much time where we could have sold our items for more on marketplace and to other dealers. Which is precisely what we ended up doing, but no thanks to Estate Maxx.

Their shop is full of old stuff they procured from people they had an estate sale with, and their items didn’t sell. I will never return there based on the business courtesy that they did NOT show.

We had contacted them just before the holidays and Brenda, who apparently makes the business decisions, gave us an offer. It was a very low offer, but we accepted and said we would arrange for the pick up after everybody was less busy and the holidays were over. By the way, Brenda claims that “brown is down” which is not true at this point (because wood is indeed making a comeback mixed in with other finishes) and she paints everything she can get her hands on.

Since they ignored our attempts to reach out to them after the holidays, we showed up at the shop one day and caught them there. They said they were just talking about us and were still interested and made an appointment with us to come by and now look at our items because they wanted to decide if they were going to honor their original offer. This was new, but we agreed.

The day of the appointment came and at the end of the day, after waiting all day, we received a text saying they were running late and wouldn’t make it that day and we’d have to reschedule. They didn’t have any openings for at least two weeks because they were so very busy.

We agreed and said please give us your first available. At that point they stopped responding. Total ghosting our efforts to reach them. Extremely unprofessional and rude!!!. Assuming they changed their mind but they apparently don’t have the business sense or courtesy to let people know. We wasted so much time with this extremely unprofessional couple!
