I can't recommend attorney Filia enough. We have just recently hired him for our case and he's been very prompt and professional while also being understanding and compassionate with us. This has been an emotional case for my family and I seriously can't ask for a better attorney.

My grandfather has been attempting to finalize his divorce for several years without success. Despite working with Michael Filia since 2018, the matter remains unresolved, causing significant delays and negatively impacting his ability to access veteran's benefits for assisted living.
Filia accepted payment, his ex wife signed the paperwork" in February of this year and it is now November. They almost never answer the phone, and if his secretary does Michael is almost never available. Based on this experience, I strongly advise against working with Michael Filia.

Attorney Filia took time to answer all of our questions about the hearing process and told us what to expect. After our hearing he explained everything and made sure we understood everything the judge said. We highly recommend Attorney Filia and would go to him again but hopefully we won't have too!

Very knowledgeable and helpful with complicated custody cases. I felt helpless in my past experiences with other custody attorneys. Mr Filia is an excellent attorney and strives to meet your goals, expectations and outcomes. He is very thorough and eases your mind when it comes to hearings and lets you know what to expect.
