My story:

I went inside Costco and saw that Sunrun Solar company was selling solar panels.

I contracted Sunrun Solar company to install solar panels at my home.

A water line was hit with one of their screws on the roof top attic area.

Extreme water damage in the second floor master bathroom, laundry room, upstairs bathroom and first floor kitchen cabinets. Including some furniture were all damaged.

Several pictures and videos were taken immediately from the second floor master bathroom to the entire kitchen.

ServPro of Chula Vista was contracted by Sunrun Solar company to do remediation at my home.

ServPro did not take into account to owners water damage concerns throughout water damaged areas. Several damages were also made by ServPro due to lack of masking and protection of our belongings and utilities.

During remediation process, several obvious areas were being skipped and not taken into account even though proof was given with videos and pictures of waterfall style coming down kitchen ceiling starting from the attic.

I contacted my home insurance CSE of the water damage.

My home insurance CSE and Sunrun Solar eventually hired a cost estimate DMA and Sedgwick to inspect my home.

The DMA cost estimator hired by my home insurance that showed up at my home, was very unprofessional. He showed no interest in hearing what happened to our home and never asked questions.

Cost estimates from both companies came to be extremely low and not enough to fix and rebuild what was damaged. Remediation to my two bathrooms upstairs, laundry room and entire kitchen.

I continued to show proof of obvious areas to both Home insurance company and solar company insurance and they were not taken into consideration.

I hired my own cost estimate from J&M Keystone. The 129 page cost estimate came back to be about twice as much to what my insurance company claimed.

I submitted the new cost estimate to my insurance and Solar company insurance.

This is where my own insurance company failed to follow through and respond back in reasonable time.

After couple of months of trying to get my house back to its normal state but no avail. I reached out to Law Eagles and met Eric Townsend.

I gave all the facts to Eric and this is where Eric showed knowledge and professionalism to help with my case.

This process took its time but I assure you it gave me the peace of mind that someone with knowledge and experience was listening and on my side. Every time I spoke to Eric my day felt just smoother knowing he was helping me out. It took a lot of pressure and stress off my shoulders.

We kept it simple and stayed with the facts the entire time. Eric assisted me by submitting all the facts to CSE.

After several months of going back and forth with documents with my insurance, we finally got an answer from them.

My claim was finally reached at an amount reasonable to restore,and fix areas that were damaged with the help of Law Eagles Eric Townsend.
