Awesome place. Accidentally left our 50 amp surge protector plugged in. They called to let us know. So pleased with that level of care of their guests. The location was terrific, super clean, well maintained. Would definitely recommend if you need to stop before your Grand Canyon adventure..

Really nice people. The camp sites are in the flagstaff forest. Our site had a brand new fire pit with grill. So quite and peaceful! They have a huge bouncy pillow for the kiddos to play at. Everything was well maintained My only con is our site needed leveling. It really was lower on one side than the other

We just stayed one night it was just okay, had to do laundry and there are a few dryers not in operation but it wasn't that crowded just had to move some stuff over that was left. All of the laundry is card operated instead of coin which actually makes it more convenient not sure if you can add 10 minutes like you can coin-operated machine but it sure makes it easier than getting rolls of quarters all the time. We did not check out all the amenities but I did notice one of those bouncing trampoline things for the kids and I think there was some kind of water feature as I saw a couple of boys with Nets and bucket. The sight we had needed leveling just one thickness of leveling blocks, so not too bad of a setup. All in all it was just fine no bug problems, the highway is not far but it was not too noisy there compared to other places we've stayed

This KOA has the best dog parks of the many dozen KOA I’ve stayed at! They have two very large separated spaces and have very clean. Well kept dog areas.

However, the campsite I was assigned was a pull through. It was far from Level. It took two stacks and still needed two more to get it level.
One good thing about that campsite, though, was that it helped improve my backing the trailer skills with all the juggling I needed to do to get into the position on such a tight squeeze of a parking area. The slide out barely cleared above some huge rocks by , only a few inches.
The whole campground was immaculately clean, and the staff was extremely friendly.

Beautiful place. Spaces were very close together. We had space #84 which on the map looked like it was a larger space. But their map doesn’t show they have added space #85, so we had much less room than expected. Was fine for the one night stay we had.

The worst KOA I have been to on my trip. $49 is a lot for a tent site, but other KOAs I’ve been to (even cheaper ones) have made up for it with great amenities. Definitely not this one. First of all I paid an extra $5 for a padded tent site (mulch/wood chips). But then my site was gravel and crushed (!) rock, extremely uncomfortable. I got there late evening and was losing daylight quickly, so I didn’t go back to try and sort it out. I did read later in the fine print that I have to not only pay for the upgraded site, I also have to specifically request it when checking in. What a ridiculous policy - why would I pay more if I didn’t want the better site!? When I told them next morning that I felt misled, they couldn’t care less.
Secondly, the sites are extremely small. My tent was pitched only a few feet away from an RV. Other campgrounds not only have bigger sites, they also separate tents and RVs much better. And because of the high density occupation, the entire campground ended up covered in smoke from camp fires.
The showers were old, dirty, run-down and very small. No paper towels in the bathroom either.
I can’t recommend this campground, it does not live up to KOA expectations.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in July, staying at the KOA in our motorhome. We liked it so much we decided to make a reservation for Sept! We drove around before we left, and picked the perfect spot, so pretty. When we arrived today, to our surprise, we were assigned the first spot, closest to the freeway. We have our granddaughter with us. Why would we reserve the busiest and noisiest spot in the park? Disappointing ?

We have been coming here every year for the past five years. We stayed in a premium site this year that we had looked at last year. The site is great, close to the forest. But last winter, they added a very bright light that really made it uncomfortable to use the patio area in the evening. Off I mentioned it to the general manager and she made arrangements to have the light turned off. I thought that was great service. And it’s a lovely park.
