Florida Rural Legal Services in Fort Pierce was the best choice I could have ever made. The lawyer and staff were amazing. Mr. Dean and Ms. Hill and everyone that works in that office, are dedicated to helping you. They would be my recommendation if you need a lawyer with an awesome staff, this should be your choice. Would leave zero stars if I could. 15 years ago I needed a DV attorney and you didn't handle those cases. Now I've got primary custody but he's taken off with the kids and I can't afford an attorney and I'm told you don't handle post judgement cases Your website CLEARLY states you do. Either fix your websites language or stop bothering to "give us hope". The worst part of all this is then the public who say things like "go to legal aid, it says on their site they can help you! Why would they lie?"
It's a rude presumption on their part for now acting as if YOU'RE the one lying and it's even ruder problem with the company who is publicly displaying FALSE information, right on their site!
Either fix your language, or fix your business.
Something MUST CHANGE.

Worst lawfirm ever. Un reachable via email and phone. Been "represented" by them for almost two years now still not divorced. They make everything worse I've had 5 lawyers and countless continuance I would have been better off representing myself.

Intake said they couldn't help and couldn't refer, after hanging up on me twice today. I've been trying to get through for weeks. They are the only referral from FL Bar Lawyer Referral Service in the area. I have a difficult legal position; abused by ex and officer lied on signed affidavit, provable from body camera footage. I need legal representation and can't afford to keep paying thousands for representation.

The truth may set you free, but litigation will cost you dearly.

4 years ago i need help with an illegal foreclosure of my Grandmothers estate. They didnt have anyone to help so they said they were trying to get someone outside of the organization. Well they still didnt helpme and my kids from getting evicted from the home by fraudulent attorney and Ocwen/Phh. Now i have another court date coming up because there has been no record activity in 10 months because entire case is illegally conducted. But now since im not living in home, they cant help! Then the csr that answered the call was very rude and said we cant help you, gave me fl bar number and hung up. Somehow i get back on the line with her again and tell her i just spoke with you. She tells me no u didnt, i just came from break but they were just opening up, and said they had 10 reps answering the phones. Then said i would need to tell her the situation again. lol So as im talking, i ask a question, and silence. I said hello a couple more times and still nothing. I disconnected the call after a few more minutes. Called back to speak with supervisor and the lady said there were only 3 answering phones, not 10! But she did give me info and told me about other things to mention to the bar that would be helpful. But that one rep was very rude, unprofessional, and a liar. Wow!

Absolute worst place ever! they started my divorce, never got back with me. 0 contact !half the people don't even speak English. Switched and gave me a different attorney she told me oh well he'll get this and this and that because he's entitled. I swear this place is a nightmare and also writing to the BBB. I had to call over and over so many times months went by no response. I'm sorry my children mean more to me than letting these people toss me to the side who really could care less! This place is not victim friendly. now i am left to fix this problem with no attorney no help nothing!!!!! and this will not be the last they hear from me!

Good luck with them, my client had had a nightmare of any experience from their service. They changed Executive Directors (3) times in the 1yr 6 months while my client was there. The ED looked my client in three face an said "WE NEVER WIN THESE CASES". The attorney assigned to the case either resigned or was fired. Provided my client with no notice or anything. I found out due to calls not being returned and him missing from the company website. The best part was the last ED, who said we never win foreclosure cases told my client to take the $6,000.00 cash for keys offer and start over. We declined her suggestion. Nightmare of a long story short, my client received 4th offer of a modification which she's able to afford and is making her payments and living in her home of 30yrs which she would have lost had she listen to the Executive Director. I understand what their mission is but they have to do a better job serving the people.

It's sad that a woman that feels threatened by her husband can't get help with a lawyer to file divorce as long as she still lives in the same home. They can't arrest him if you're not cut or bleeding. So how is a woman who's been supported by that man for 33+ years supposed to leave and have a place to stay separately? Something wrong about the laws in this state..
