Be careful if you are setting up a Living Trust with them. Make sure you understand what you are paying for. My parents set up a Living Trust. They thought Foley and Pearson would be very helpful once they past away. The Living Trust was helpful but the attorney was not. He wanted $10,000 to go over the trust with us. I explained we did not have any money left so he thought he could bring it down to $5,000. I had to hire a different lawyer and it took less than 30 minutes to go over the Living Trust with us. Costed me $150. I was very disappointed.

Unfortunately I had a several poor experiences with this firm. The staff was not concerned with my needs or my questions. Following directions and completing tasks in a timely manner was difficult for them. Getting important information to the correct location did not happen. I had difficulty getting my phone calls and emails returned. If It had been up to me I would chose another company to handle my affairs. I would want to know my loved ones were taken care of better than this after I passed.

Set up our Living Trust in 2006 and just updated with the help of Bill Pearson. He provided great advice and worked directly with our financial advisor to get our Trust updated to reflect 2023 realities. Very professional, timely and made a difficult task alot easier.

My husband and I engaged the services of Foley & Pearson to prepare a living trust, update our will, and prepare other essential documents. We found the firm to be thorough, professional, and responsive to our individual needs and our requests. They handled all the financial and legal aspects and made certain we understood the conditions. Particular kudos to Melanie and Alex, who became more than just advisors. I highly recommend Foley & Pearson for estate planning.

We became clients of (then) Foley & Foley about twenty years ago when we became a mixed family with shared custody. Even though parental relationships were good, there were many details to consider and we benefited greatly from the knowledge and services we recieved in establishing our estate plan. Throughout the years, as our circumstances evolved, we have been even more grateful for excellent guidance we regularly recieve from (now) Foley & Pearson. Of particular distinction is their ability to engage the whole family in sessions so questions and expectations are clarified for everyone in a comfortable environment. We highly recommend Foley & Pearson for anyone considered estate planning, even if you think all you need is a simple will!

We are very appreciative of the advice, consultation and the preparation of our Living Trust with the guidance from Foley & Pearson. Our mission almost 20 years ago (January of 2003) was to assure that we had an estate plan and Living Trust to assure the transition of our estate to our benefactors after our death. The assistance of the Foley & Foley staff (now Foley & Pearson) was critical in this process. Chelsea Ray Riekkola was instrumental in her guidance and development and continued maintenance of our Living Trust.
