I visited nextdoor but down town Franklin is always welcoming and fun place to go. We did need information about upcoming events and got it from the chamber. Looking forward to Wine walk and down town Holiday events this year.. Small business Saturday light up events all sound like Franklin will be the place to be!

Applefest 2022. Our very 1st visit to Franklin, PA. We were greeted by a very grumpy, condescending, older gentleman with a beard who was directing traffic. He proceeded to start yelling at us after he pointed to us to what we thought was "go". There weren't any people in the intersection, and we moved an inch. Apparently, not what he meant, but there wasn't any need to yell and be rude. Then, we walked down to the vendors. Close quarters & people basically stepping on each other. After a Ho hum apple dumpling, we left. No desire to ever return for this event. I only give it 2 stars because the other firefighters & police directing were friendly.
