These people work with the defense team. Concentra clinics are not your friend, they will down play your injury to make sure the insurance companies give you the least amount possible. If you want good representation please go somewhere else. Oscar Martinez is the worst Lawyer I've ever had to deal with. Most of the time I had no idea what he was doing with my case. If you miss his phone call then you lost your opportunity to speak to him. Once he sent me an email saying "I just tried calling you" seconds after I get his call but I actually answered it. When you ask why no one answers the phone they give you every excuse possible, phone errors, not calling the right number. The most frequent answer I got was there in a meeting. If this is true there in meetings all day, and have no time for there clients. Oscar kept calling my old number even after I gave him the new one multiple times. As far as my injury he knew very little about my injury. It sounded like he just Google searched my injury/symptoms. I had to re submit doctor documents I had already gave to him during the intake. Oscar also high balled my settlement amount for"$75,000-$80,000, then when he called back the actual amount for the settlement was $12,000. Oscar made me feel like I had a solid case then once the opportunity to settle arose my case no longer had any weight. Oscar then tells me the settlement was so low because I already healed up good. The guy asked multiple times in the past if I was still hurt and I always said yes. I did say I wanted to settle for the $12,000 but I regretted it right away. I let him know ASAP and he supposedly was gonna see what he could do. During this time the receptionist kept sending me the settlement papers through email. I called and called to see what was going on but I gave up and just signed the settlement paperwork. If you don't believe that there horrible give them a call, and do it through out the day. You have a 10% chance that they will answer you and that's being generous. My advice to the firm is accept less clients, this could minimize the "meetings" they need to have and fire Oscar Martinez. They asked me if I wanted to talk to one of there employment lawyers for another possible case I had, I said yes just to see how long it would take them to get back to me. It took them two weeks, they probably had to have several meetings to discuss when they should call me. Within those two weeks I already had new representation with an amazing firm. They ask the right questions about your case, they answer your calls, return your calls in a timely manner, and most importantly they take the time to understand your case. I don't expect any accountability from Oscar Martinez or Lauren & Goldberg, I just feel I need let people know what to expect from this firm. You've been warned.

It's true my expectations were unrealistic, but only because Oscar told me an unrealistic amount. I wasn't forced to do anything but it's messed up when you can't get a response from your lawyer because he supposedly had an injury. On top of that the settlement paperwork kept being sent to me, if I told Oscar I didn't want to sign it why keep sending it to me I didn't say anything before because I knew this company would dodge all accountability. Oh and if you look on there home web page the Google reviews won't show this review or any bad review. This place is sketchville. Oh and Oscar was supposed to help me with an inhaler I was prescribed but as usual the guy was to busy being injured and having his long meetings.
