I’ve been calling for the last two weeks no response an automated answer the phone then tells you an operator will be right with you phone rings and rings and rings and rings and rings then tells you your call can’t be completed at this time call back later then hangs up if ya don’t want to offer free services then stop advertising it

Terrible service, absolutely no help from these people at all. I worked with Maria Moreli Wolf and she was lazy and unhelpful. I can’t believe they pay people to just sit on their a** all day doing nothing.

Attorney Maria Morelli-Wolfe called my phone and told me she can’t help me at all, and was very rude and not helpful she also emailed me back and was very rude. Connecticut’s legal assistance programs are suppose to provide free civil legal services to income-eligible people in the form of direct representation and she has failed at that. Unsatisfied and unacceptable.

They turn you over to Neighborhood Legal Services, who you will never get to speak to. Not for landlord tenant problems anyway. Good luck. They have effectively taken away your voice and your rights.

I’ve tried several times to get help with an unjust and illegal eviction through them. They denied my case initially. I was told to reapply. I have called and left SEVERAL voicemails with no response. Had to go to court by myself, 8mo pregnant. Now I have an eviction on my record despite being able to get the case dismissed, and I need help with getting it off my record so I can find housing for me and my soon to be child.. no response. They helped my neighbor with the same issue but not me?! Why?

Give them a chance! They may not pick up the phone in a timely manner or you might have to wait but be consistent. However my lawyer, Nancy was amazing. She sat down and explained the situation, wrote it all down, completed the court forms with me, spoke to the lawyers and told me exactly what to do. I would definitely recommend them.
