I work with Marlo in a professional capacity, and I would not hesitate to use her legal services. While I have not yet needed to use her, she always answers any legal related questions that I may have and her kindness and compassion for her clients is clear. I am Marlo’s stylist, and she even thinks about her clients when it comes to her hair color - whether it is teal for sexual assault awareness month, rainbow for pride month, pink for breast cancer, or just making sure it is the right color for trial, she always puts her clients first! She is committed to helping victims get justice and I am always shocked to hear what insurance companies do to defend people that hurt other people. I’m glad to know that I have Marlo should I ever need her!

Review of Greer Law Group
From Susan Q O’Connell

Marlo Greer, of Greer Law Group, at our first meeting met me with compassion and clarity of the lawsuit process which gave me reasonable expectations. She was very understanding of the medical issues I was dealing with and also gave suggestions of practitioners as well as possible avenues for relief of my symptoms. These qualities were consistent throughout the 4 years of our contract.

Marlo and her team stayed in contact with updates and lawsuit related tasks for me to complete, then ramped up our communications on the status of the case once I was able to complete the treatments that I needed for the injuries I had received in the car accident.

Marlo and her paralegal, Stacy Brenner, listened and understood my concerns regarding the lawsuit as well as giving me guidance on appropriate presentation for the deposition and potential trial. They helped me understand the legalese during each step of the process and what to expect from the opposing counsel.

Marlo was persistent and successful in garnering the absolute best return respective to my history, my requests, and the conditions of the accident. I am grateful.

I would absolutely hire Marlo Greer and Greer Law Group again, and definitely refer others to them.

I had high hopes for Ms. Greer based upon her other reviews. She took on my cases when my previous counsel and I parted ways due to a billing dispute I had with a medical provider that my prior counsel referred me to. I signed up with Ms. Greer in January of 2023, and repeatedly requested that she send out the Demand letters that would start the negotiations of my claims because I didn’t want to treat for the accidents anymore. Her office was provided with lists of the medical providers I saw and for which accident twice in writing 8-9 months ago and again over the phone in August.

A suit was filed on my first case to ā€œpreserve the statute of limitationsā€ while some issues were being worked out. The ā€œexcess carrierā€ denied any exposure by saying that the Defendant named in the suit is an excluded driver. But, the at fault driver was actually listed on the policy. Greer’s office had a policy that was en force from 2012-13 and the accident happened in 2020. Greer’s office also received requests from the defense counsel on 9/27/23, but did not inform me of what was requested in a timely manner. She was going to address the requests during a conference on 11/20/23.

At certain times during Ms. Greer’s representation of my cases questions that I would ask in the messaging section of the software she uses would not be replied to for days to weeks. Now that I have one case in litigation with deadlines to meet and the Statute of Limitations for another case she was representing me for is just over nine months away, she has terminated our working relationship. At first she assumed that I did not trust her and instead of asking me outright whether I trusted her or not, she told me to let her office know when I found other counsel and went so far as to recommend another firm. After telling me to find other counsel and suggesting another firm she suggested that we keep a meeting that was scheduled to which I replied that I saw no need for a meeting. It was not made clear that she felt we had a misunderstanding and that she wanted to continue to represent me. The aforementioned was then back peddled on and she claimed that I had told her my previous counsel did not intend to assert a lien. I said that I was unaware as to whether or not he would assert a lien and that he had been paid out of the portion of my case that he did settle. Ms. Greer and my former counsel who I once had a working relationship with have communicated in the past because Ms. Greer told me that my former counselor felt awful about the breakdown of our relationship. Instead of asking him if he intended to assert a lien on the part of my case that she was working on while she was communicating with him, she is now using his intent, in part, to withdraw from my cases at a very compromising time for me. She was actually made aware of his lien in May per the letters I reviewed, yet didn’t address that for many months.

It took 3 weeks to receive my file from Greer’s office. Her assistant Stacy thought she had emailed to it me. A review of my inbox reflected that it was not sent to me. Months went by before I had a computer and was able to see how incomplete the file was. The bulk of my records and bills were missing despite providing Greer’s office lists of my providers 3 times. I scrambled to gather the information and even had to improvise to prove treatment and billing as one of the provider’s offices had closed. I pulled it together to the best of my limited ability, sent my demand out, and negotiated a settlement. Now, Greer is claiming that she is entitled to attorney’s fees despite the fact that she withdrew as counsel.

After reviewing letters she sent out regarding my cases I noticed many errors such as wrong incident dates and wrong insurance carriers. The letter her office forwarded to Nationwide advising it that she intends to assert a lien had the incorrect adjuster listed and other errors. I have instructed her to file suit for her fees. She should be aware of what she is entitled to in the event she withdraws and what justifies a withdrawal.

A year ago I was involved in a traffic accident and injured my neck and back. I had never been in this situation before. A friend of mine referred me to The Greer law firm I made one phone call, gave Marlo the information and they took care of everything. They let me know that their first concern was that I have all of my medical issues taken care of, and be made whole they gave me great advice all the way through. I never could’ve done this on my own, and they were honest and up front every step of the way. My outcome came out better than I expected all of my medical issues were taken care of to my satisfaction I got my vehicle replaced and compensate for all of my inconveniences. I hope I never have to go through this again, but if I do or anyone I know was going through anything similar I would highly recommend the Greer law firm. Marlow and Shawna were totally the best and most important I believe they care

I didn't know what to do following my car accident, but we called Marlo and she was able to walk us through the process. She told us how to handle the next steps and made sure I got the medical treatment that I needed. She would always answer the phone, even late at night, and make sure we understood what was going on with my case. I knew exactly what to expect so that I didn't feel overwhelmed.

Communication great, understanding the issues of being in accidents 10/10. Fighting insurance is hard, and the Greer law group makes it easy. First accident, driver had minimum coverage which didn't help him at all. On the phone and ran right into me at a red light- had two people in the car with him to look at Google maps for him - and sandwiched me into someone's new GT. second accident same year, 4am on i225 empty high way got slammed into from behind by a guy who was going way over the speed limit and still somehow managed to hit me. He had no coverage. No insurance. He filled in the police report with a cancelled policy and got screwed. Guys, get insurance. Get full coverage. It's not inconvenient- yes its costly BUT it's worth it when you have to text your boss at 4am why you can't get to work and have to go see a doctor. I'm 100% recovered but my body will never be the same - but the insurance and coverage helped pay for the medical bills. GET YOUR CAR INSURANCE!!! THANK YOU GREER GROUP FOR HELPING ME!!!

Marlo's firm was recommended to me by an out-of-state lawyer friend who knew of her by reputation. From my first call to our final meeting, Marlo’s firm provided consistent, personalized, and professional service. Following my car accident, Marlo’s knowledge and compassion guided our every conversation. Unlike faceless firms, she reached out personally each step of the way. Navigating the process with her allowed me to concentrate on getting my health back, knowing I was in expert, capable hands. My final settlement was a testament to her hard work, dedication, and experience. I highly recommend her and would partner with her again without hesitation.
